We have enough members now that I think I should make some rules before trouble starts.
UPDATE: NEW RULE.
1. Don't spam (except in the spam section). If you make a topic in the wrong section I will move it. There's no shame in making a mistake, but please be careful as I don't like moving topics. Going wildly off-topic is spam and will be moved. You won't be punished for it, however, unless you start doing it on prupose, of course...
1.5. Do not make posts consisting of a single word or a single emoticon. As in, posts like 'yeah!' 'ditto' 'XD' '' 'lol' 'OMG' and the like are unnecessary, irritating and considered spam. I will delete them. If you think this is too harsh take a look at this mess: 624angel.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=couple&action=display&thread=1093044684&page=3#1141585028
I don't want my forum looking like that, k?
2. Don't post pornography, lemons, or even limes. This is a children's show.
2.1 Fanfiction/fancomics posted here can be no higher than a PG or K+ rating. Slash (aka gaystuff) falls under this category, as it is offensive to some people of some religions. Stories with T/PG-13 ratings may be linked to on another site if warnings are given before the link, but not actually posted. M/R ratings may be linked if they're a relatively 'mild' R, but NC-17 is right out, and everything must have warnings.[/u] This is a kid's show, see, so eleven-year-olds and my little brother will probably show up. And while there are plenty of ways for them to find porn on the internet, this site shouldn't be one of them.
2.2 No use of the word "****" or things related. I realize that, yes, XR has used that word, and, yes, Mira has called him "sexist" - and honestly, those words have no place in a CHILDREN'S show. I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes or anything - I just want to keep this place clean and kid-friendly. Like Kila says just above. Younger, below-13 kids probably do check this site out.
2.3 No swearing, please. I'm not singling out any one member, since more than one person has done it. But like I said above, this isn't just a site for older teenagers and adults - it's for kids, too. Like, adolescent kids. They hear enough language without us adding to it, y'know? =(
3. Do NOT flame or harrass other members. This behavior will result in an immediate ban, first temporary, then permanent.
4. Do not be mean or too harsh when critiquing someone, aka 'flaming'. That counts as a form of harrassment. See above. That said, artistic critique in itself is DEFINITELY okay, and encouraged. Just.... don't go 'UR ART SUX' or something like that. At least tell them why it sucks.
5. KEEP YOUR SIGNATURES A REASONABLE SIZE. You do not need more than one picture, and this picture does not need to be overly large.
6. NO CREATING MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS. This is very confusing. If you want to change your username, do so in your profile. Do not create a new account. From now on, warnings will be issued to people who create new accounts.
7. Do not post publicly addresses to full episodes of the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command series, or any other for that matter. You can only distribute these through personal messages. Otherwise the forums might encounter problems with Proboards, like it already has.
For roleplays
1. NEVER. EVER. Use someone else's character in any way without their permission.
2. DO NOT make your character all-powerful. It ruins a good RP.
3. Please try to pay good attention to the story.
4. Feel free to tell someone if they're breaking the first two rules (or tell me and I'll tell them). I want the RPs to go well.
5. If someone is gone for 6 months or more someone else can take the character of such person. Participants should agree, specially the thread starter. When it comes to original characters it's better to leave them out, have them be replaced in the story with a different character in cohesive way, if you need replace what has happened until the person returns, if such person does.
If anyone thinks there are other rules I should make, you may tell me here. I don't really expect anyone who's on the forum currently to break these rules but I want a list so I have something to back me up if trouble should arise.
