“Yup.” Erin briefly chewed on the inside of her cheek, then straightened up. “Welp, let’s get this show on the road.”

"Sounds like a plan." Warp grinned as he stepped out of the ship and proceed to Erin's side to open the door for her. "Something seems to be bothering you and I can't quite put my finger on it. Or would you rather not say?"

She smiled up at him as she stepped out. “I’m sure it’s nothing that hasn’t bothered you. Chill – I’m okay. Let’s just get inside – it’s cold out here.”

"Eh, probably so." He said as he shut the door and pressed the lock button on his key fob causing it to chirp.
chirpchip
"Goofy little sound."

"Hopefully we have enough time to to that." Mira stifled a yawn before she picked up the box she put down a few seconds before. She was a little tired from today's events and with a restless night of sleep and going to see those detectives earlier today she was about ready to get to bed.
But tonight was a speical night. And a very dangerous one is Red did crash the party. She wished there was some coffee perculating, but sadly the only things around were just random party refreshments and she didn't think soda or water was going to help her any.

Buzz started to yawn as he hung up his ornaments. He caught himself and shot a mock-glare at Mira. “Y’see what you’re making me do, Ranger?”
Huh, she looked tired. Well, no duh, she looked tired! Last night had been a bad night for the whole team! Still hanging up the ornaments, he glanced across the sanctuary and called out, “Hey, Booster!”
“Yeah, Buzz!”
“Toss over an energy bar, will ya?”
“Here you go!”
Buzz caught the flying energy bar and said, “Thanks!” He held out the bar to Mira. “Here, this should help.”
Erin giggled and shook her head, linking her arm into Warp’s. “C’mon.”

Mira shrugged, opening the box to put the decorations up. Yawning was contagious, and if Buzz wasn't constantly looking her way he wouldn't be yawning right now.
Mira looked down at the energy bar questioningly. Did she really want this? On one hand she wasn't too big a fan on energy bars. On the other hand it was probably a good idea to keep her energy up since this place was a ticking time bomb ready to explode.
Tearing it opening she took a small bite. She realized just then she went without eating since lunch and that was....well that was hours ago.
"Thanks," She called over, placing the bar on a nearby table. She needed to get these decorations put up, pronto.

“Don’t thank m-”
Buzz was cut off by Booster hollering, “You’re welcome, Mira!”
Buzz shook his head and hung up the rest of his ornaments as quickly as possible. It was about then that his sharp ears picked up the sound of a car pulling in outside. “Ohh, I bet that’s them.”
Booster checked one of the windows and cried, “IT’S THEM!! THEY’RE HERE!!”

Warp knew he was practially radiating as he and Erin made their way up the stairs to the front doors of the church.
"The place is shaking. Booster must have notice that we're here." He said laughingly as he started to reach for the door.
((sry everyone. I meant to reply last night but I didn't get home until late and....finals week is coming up.))

Mira hung up the last ornament when Booster announced--loudly--of Warp and Erin's arrival.
"They're practically glowing," Mira muttered softly as the couple came into the Church. "I'm happy for them." She said to Buzz.

Erin laughed, but the laugh died away as she stepped into the church and her breath caught. …It was so completely beautiful. She could hardly have asked for anything more.
“Me, too,” Buzz replied, somewhat solemnly. He took a deep breath, then smiled widely and hurried over to his little sister.
Erin beamed up at him. “Buzz!”
“Sis, hey.” They hugged, Erin’s sturdy but petite frame swallowed up in Buzz’s much large one.
“Thanks for everything,” she whispered.
“No problem,” he murmured back. “Thank everyone else, too – especially Petra.”
Erin nodded and pulled away to face the rest of the small group. “Hi, everybody,” she smiled.

It was perfect. Petra and the rest of the crew had created a picture perfect job on the inside of the church. Warp heard Erin start breathing again as Buzz was the first to step over, quickly followed by the remainder of the small crowd.
"Wow." He took his turn and drew a sharp breath, letting the sight sink in for a moment.

Erin turned to give Warp's hand a quick squeeze, then returned her attention to the group when Petra came forward, her eyes scanning her work. "It's okay, right? Please tell me it's okay, please tell me -"
"It's fantastic, Petra," Erin reassured her, giving the older girl a hug. "Thank you so much."
Petra breathed a sigh of relief. "You're welcome."
Buzz stepped over to Warp, then paused, as if he'd been intending to do something and wasn't sure if he should. He smiled, though, at his old partner. "So, no trouble yet?"

"Petra worked the hardest out of all of us," Mira said, giving the younger girl more credit. "If it wasn't for her you'd be walking into an undecorated room right now."
Mira then stepped over to give Erin a hug. "Nothing's going to go wrong tonight. It'll be perfect." Mira lied through her teeth. Perfect wasn't on anyone's list tonight. A raging battle that might leave someone with either broken bones or a broken heart was more where everyone was going towards. But she couldn't let the Bride go without a little optimism for her wedding night, can she?
Oh craters! Mira was hanging around Buzz a little too often. She was beginning to think like him now!

"Really, Petra. I don't think we could've asked for better." Warp expressed his genuine thanks to the young cadet.
"None that I know of. Staying frosty though." He responded, raising a eyebrow. He had read something in Buzz's body language as he approached him and as curious as to what Buzz had intended to say.
