((It’s not, KJ – it’s beautiful! Maybe a bit… much, seeing as how this is Warp, y’know, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! *applauds*))
Erin had to blink back tears this time, and glanced down briefly at the floor before looking back up at Warp. “I knew I should’ve gone first,” she said aloud, her voice thick as she smiled bravely. She cleared her throat and let her smile give way to a more solemn look.
“When I first met you, you were… just about the last person I’d ever figured on marrying. I liked you… a lot. But there were barriers.
“Yet… when we started to really know each other… I knew there was more to you than you liked to let on, and I had to find out more. The past year has been one of the best years of my life.
“But it’s also been one of the hardest. And whenever I felt low, you were always there to support me, whether you were busy or not. That alone means so much to me.
“When I’m with you, when I stand beside you… I’m complete. You are the love of my life, and the other half of my soul. God created our love and gave it to us as a beautiful gift, one that no one can take away. I love you, from this day forward and forever.”
She still did not smile, but she didn’t have to. Her face shone.
The pastor softly said, “Thank you, Erin. Now the rings?”
XR wheeled forward, bearing the rings. Erin had to smile at the distinct difference in size, and took the larger ring. Then the pastor said something about the rings symbolizing their bond, but ever afterward, Erin could never remember his exact words.
Then it was time for Warp to slip her ring on her finger.

Oh boy..... Warp didn't know what to think really. All he knew was that he was glad Buzz was behind him so he couldn't really see his face and that he was about to be married. The ring looked small in his hand, but it was a perfect fit.
((Okay time for me to get off this sentimental streak.))

((IT’S A WEDDING; YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE SENTIMENTAL. XDDD))
Erin held her breath as the ring slid onto her finger. Then it was her turn. She slid the ring she held onto Warp’s finger, her heart beating a little faster now.
The pastor’s voice interrupted her brief focus on her heartbeat. “Do you, Warp Darkmatter, take this woman to be your lawfully-wedded wife: for richer or poorer; in sickness and in health; to love, honor, and cherish, forsaking all others for as long as you both shall live?”

Warp saw Erin holding her breath and hoped that she didn't hold it too long. He suddenly remembered that this was the second half of the ceremony...the part he was going to remember.
"I do." Two words. That's all it was, but it was special.
((Gotta run for a minute and go to feed my horses. I'll stay logged in though. brb.))

The pastor turned to Erin. “Do you, Erin Elisheba Frame, take this man to be your lawfully-wedded husband: for richer or poorer; in sickness and in health; to love, honor, and cherish, forsaking all others for as long as you both shall live?”
“I do.” Incredible, how just two words could seal you for life.
((Okay, NOW we NEED Steel! Where is she??))

Warp felt that was going to burst, if his smile didn't literally split his face first.
((Don't know, but I have to go soon.))

((Sorry! I was really busy all day, I was barely at home! But now... ohohohoho!))
However, before the pastor could speak the last words to finalize the ceremony, a voice suddenly rent through the silence like a knife.
"Oh, as much as I hate having to break such a gushingly heart-wrenching moment... I'm afraid I'm going to have to put a stop to all this before I puke."
There was a faint shimmer akin to a heatwave and Hellboy materialized right beside the bride, a smirk a mile wide on his face as his left hand was already morphed into some weapon or other which he held aimed and at the ready at the collection of guests.
"One wrong move, and the bride gets it."
For though he had no actual weapon aimed towards Erin, his threat was far more real and dangerous than if he were to have aimed the plasma cannon at her.
For he had materialized with his stone fingers already wrapped around the back of Erin's head in a vice-like grip. The fact that his hand was larger than average and was easily wound around her head like one would grip a ball did not help in the slightest.
"And I warn you, I've crushed skulls as easily as a child crushes flowers." He chuckled slightly at the analogy. "What an ironic comparison, eh?"
He was dressed in his new space suit, and even his demeanor had changed along with his wardrobe; from the rather amiable and helpful air he had at their previous meeting, the demon now seemed bent on causing as much chaos and mayhem as possible, a rather malevolent gleam in his pupil-less yellow eyes as the red emblem on his chest roved around as it seemed to survey the room at large.
((And I'll explain how Hellboy managed this in the next postie~))

Mira's breath caught in her throat, automatically having her laser pointed, but put it down when Hellboy threatened Erin's life.
He couldn't really see her, but something told her otherwise. Everyone had eyes in the back of their heads. He senced her and she knew it.
What to do Was the question being asked by everyone silently. With a few seconds of resonable thinking on her part, Mira ghosted down into the floor, popping up beneath Erin, taking her by the ankles and making her tangible to sink through the floor with her again.
Now it was time for the action to begin.

((Hey. At least ya made it, right? )) Warp's eyes widdened instantly at the sound of a voice with no face as he drew a sharp breath. He hadn't heard that particular voice before but he understood the meaning in full. He just stared for a moment, trying get a grip on what had just happened. The fact that this red being had just landed itself in the middle of a gathering of Rangers and threatened one of them didn't help in the least. It hurt even more that that one Ranger was his wife. Warp clenched his fists, his temper starting to simmer as he glared at, who he guessed to be Zurg's new agent, Hellboy. He couldn't think of anything to say that would help the situation or Erin so he kept quiet and let his mind go to work. All I need is a distraction. Just for a split second. This was not the Hellboy that Mira had told him about only hours ago. Not at all, and that startled Warp. Thank you, MIRA! Warp wasted no time laying a good solid punch to Hellboy's jaw. Now, the wasn't the first time Warp had ever thrown a punch. It was the first time that his had came back smarting like it had just gotten stepped on by a running Jo-Adian. Owww! Just for that... The punch was quickly followed by a tackle as Warp landed with his shoulder in Hellboy's spine.

He would admit that he hadn't expected his hostage to be dematerialized from his vice-like grip--some kind of stealth device such as his, he thought--but he wouldn't let that deter him. He'd crashed the wedding all right, so now all he had to do was the last step...
And then Warp tried to land a punch on him. Now, Hellboy barely even flinched at Warp's punch; it felt as light as a fly's touch, like a love tap, hardly noticeable. And when he tried to tackle him, the ex-agent was met with a solid wall of muscle. "Ha! Is that the best you've got?"
He grabbed Warp's shoulder that was still in the small of his back and whirled him forwards, placing him across his knee and cuffing the small of Warp's back in turn with his stone right hand. There was an audible snap! and he let Warp fall to the floor. "Pathetic. Not at all what I expected from Zurg's ex-agent."
He jutted out his lower lip into a pout, but since he naturally had an underbite you could barely tell. "You ruined all my fun now. Oh well. Guess I'll just have to speed things up faster than I'd calculated."
And the weapon his left hand had been morphed into was revealed to be none other than a flamethrower. He torched the decorations, he torched the flowers and garlands, and he went as far as to set the pastor's robes aflame.
And all the while, he just laughed.

"Hardly." Warp started to make another move but Hellboy had beaten him to it.
Ookaaaay. That didn't work. Warp lay on the floor completely paralyzed and not unconscious thanks to his suit, but his world had become black. That had happened way too fast even for his liking.
He has to have a weakness. What is it? Warp tried to remember what his mind and notice when Hellboy had first appeared. ...Big, red, tail, black suit with glowing red emblem.... He stopped there. That had to be something even if it was just some sort of camera. Now he had to tell someone.
Would someone please snap my back, back were it needs to be so I can move. Warp wished he telepathic even though his sight was beginning to come back, his motor skills weren't.

"Oh, as much as I hate having to break such a gushingly heart-wrenching moment... I'm afraid I'm going to have to put a stop to all this before I puke." “Hellboy,” she mouthed. Oddly, Erin didn’t feel fear, even though his huge hand was wrapped around her head to crush it. Her adrenaline started working full time, of course, but her face darkened, and she ran through her head the possible countermoves. Okay, she had a hold-out pistol in her sleeve, knives stashed in neat places all over her… and a swift power-kick.
The hold-out would probably be her best bet. But as she was getting ready to move, Mira ghosted her down into the basement. The younger woman let her breath out in a shaky exhale, less from fear and more from adrenaline. “Thanks, Mira,” she said earnestly, and hurried to pull off her tartans and dress. “If I get the chance to put on my uniform, I will.” She hurried to the stairs that led up the part of the ground floor near the entry, and thus, the “dressing area.”
Meanwhile, Petra Hammerhold was helping the pastor get out of his burning robes. “Pastor, are you okay?” she asked, concerned.
“I think so,” he replied.
“Just move off to somewhere out of the way, okay?”
He gave her a faint grin. “You don’t have to tell me twice, Cadet.”
Ty Parsec was at Warp’s side, and kneeling down next to his old-time Academy friend. He gently probed Warp’s back and finally said, “Okay, buddy, I think Booster’s gonna hafta snap you back. Think you can take it?”
And Commander Nebula, Fop Doppler, Booster, and XR all had blasters pointed at Hellboy.
Almost from nowhere came an ice-cold voice. “Disturbance of the peace, attempted murder, and arsony. Well, congratulations, Hellboy – you’ve got yourself a rap sheet.”
Something invisible but very, very real kicked Hellboy in the stomach, all its weight thrown into the kick. “All its weight” being about 200 or so pounds of pure muscle and terillium.

Hey, that was fast!
Warp put on his brave face and tried to give Ty a look that said for him to just do it already, but he knew he wasn't fooling anyone so he just smiled.
What/who was that!?

Ty nodded, grimacing in sympathy. "Booster! Gonna need you to snap Warp back."
Booster grimaced, too. "Oooo... okaaay..." He hurried over to the two men and gently picked up Warp. As carefully as he could, he started bending... SNAP! Booster practically screamed at what his own hands had just done, but Warp was at least now "bent" back into shape.

"Oof!" Hellboy was hurled back into the air as all the air rushed out of his lungs, but his thrusters kicked in mid-air, so he stayed afloat as he tried to regain his breath. That had been one heck of a hit, and he hadn't felt the likes of it since before coming here.
What the heck was that!? he thought, narrowing his eyes and looking around. The voice had sounded familiar, but he could not quite place it. He couldn't even see who had hit him in the first place, then realized that they must be using a similar cloaking device as he had used beforehand.
"Add vandalism to the list, Lightyear," the demon smirked. Though he could not see where the ranger was, he finally put a name to the bodiless voice and braced himself for the next move. "Pretty low of you, to attack me like that. At least I became visible again to make my move. And here I thought you were a man of honour."
His flamethrower morphed into a different weapon, though still similar in shape and form. "Why don't you come and face me like a man? Or are you too scared to face me head on?"
