"Commander Nebula, sir?" Warp stood behind the older Ranger, two large cups of coffee in his hands, waiting. He had left Erin sleeping comfortably in her room, having decided that she would be alright and that he was needed elsewhere.
Elsewhere had become a breif stop at the cafeteria for some more substanial food, and Mission Control. Mission Control, was busy as ever, and it still felt to Warp like there wasn't a whole lot actually happening. I must be worse off than I thought.

The Commander turned in surprise. “Darkmatter?” Rubbed at his temples. “What’re you doin’ still up?”

Warp smiled trying not to look utterly wasted, a string of replies flashing acrossed his mind. He knew if he opened his big mouth now, things could get ugly, so he just handed the Commander his coffee. "What are you doing up, sir?" Not the best choice of words.

The Commander took the coffee but frowned. “Waitin’ for Team Crocket to send in a report. After which, I’m goin’ to bed – which is what you should be doin’ right now, Ranger.” Warp was just lucky that Commander Nebula couldn’t manage his usual bellowing right now.

Going to bed... It was starting to sound foreign. "Yes, sir." Warp replied to the subtle hint that the Commander had given him. Though he had no intention of moving, or going to bed at the moment.

The Commander sighed tiredly. "What is you want, Darkmatter?"

"Um...nothing, sir." Warp was a bit surprised that Commander thought he wanted something. "I'm just making myself avalible." He glanced around Mission Control, trying to see if there was something, anything, he could do.

The Commander frowned in annoyance. “Darkmatter, we have plenty of staff on graveyard shift. Now go get yourself some sleep before I make it an order!”

Warp thought he felt himself jump as Commander barked at him. He opened his mouth to rattle off a sarcastic comment, then thought better off it. "Yes, sir." Warp saluted and turned to leave and then stopped halfway through the airlock. "You know, sir, I just woke up and I've had eight cups of coffee already so, I'm really okay." Lie, terrible lie. Warp jogged down the hall a ways to make sure he was safe.

“Dark –” But Warp was gone before the Commander could finish. He growled and shook his head.

Warp's head snapped up as he caught himself nodding off to sleep. He'd spent almost an hour and a half in one of the training room venting 36 hours worh of stress, worry, and anger.
Now he found himself sitting at the end of Erin's bed, resting his arms and head on the rail. Sleep was becoming more and more inviting.
