And XR didn't do anything obnoxious for once, he just said a couple sentences to him.
I dunno, I'm weird. XP;

Oh man, when she was all locked up and kept saying "energy, energy..." (at least that's what it sounded like) Withdrawal lately? Oh that scared me so much. Oh yes, SO much... oO Aww! :< Now that was unnecessary...

Ask levy. This episode wasn't actually as bad as I was imagining, cuz when Kila said "glowing green," I for some reason got this weird Atlantis-type image of Mira floating and her whole body glowing green, in some kind of weird energy beam... It was all very anime.

See, I like this episode a lot. It was a kind of grown-up theme for the writers on that show to tackle, and I completely and totally applaud that. I have absolutely no idea why they wouldn't, in a world with war and drugs and that, show an episode that deals with addiction and deals with the consequences.
I sure didn't think any less of Mira or anyone else. I just thought it had a good message: "Sometimes, it's hard to know where the line is between addicted and not. So, avoid it altogether, and if you do get into trouble, ask for help or you might end up toasted."
The animation was barely average, but I really didn't see anything terrible or awful in the message itself. Ultimately, it was really a grown-up topic that was handled extremely well. Really young kids won't truly get it; older ones would. It's definitely not tainting the youth of the world. I wouldn't be afraid to let my children see it, for certain.
I'm glad I've got it on tape.

I do like that they tackled a mature theme. It just was kinda startling.
I wish I could see it in English.

I haven't seen "Supernova" yet. But has anyone seen the Batman TAS episode: It's Never too Late? I thought it was really boring when I was a kid, because I understood very little of it. Now it's one of my favorites. It's the one where the mob dad indirectly sells drugs to his own son, almost killing him. They even say "drugs" a couple of times in that and in other episodes. I know Batman and Star Command are completely different, but I just thought I should mention this classic episode.

Drugs? Wow. That is not what I thought of at all when I saw this episode. I don't see the correlation between absorbing power from a generator and taking pills. Sorry, but I think that the censors are insane if that's the reason why this episode doesn't play anymore.
Kids won't make this connection--I didn't make the connection, I had no clue until I came online and read about it, and I still I don't think that it's really there. This episode might be about, I dunno, caffeine? Or sugar, lol. But if they think that not airing it will "protect" us, they're foolish. There are FAR worse things on TV.
But, maybe I'm naive, I don't know.

It just didn't seem like drugs to me. Now that I hear people talking about it, I can see where you're comming from, but I didn't think of it like that when I saw it, and I would HOPE that little kids wouldn't either, or else they've already failed at sheltering them.
And I still think it's not a good reason for banning the episode. If it is supposed to be referencing drugs, it's saying they're bad. I mean, should they also ban the episode of "That's so Raven" that involves smoking(even though it says that it's a bad thing)? It talks about it, and directly too. Tsk tsk. *sarcasm*
However, if you all think it should be banned, that's fine, I respect that.
