Did you know there are much nicer ways to say that, and you're off topic? o-o;

XR/Savy... the more I think about it, the more I warm up to it. Savy did seem to like XR right from the beginning, and she was really nice to him throughout the episode.
At first I thought there was a big age-difference... but, does XR have an age? He's probably (technically) younger than she is...

And, he's the ONLY person she was nice to, as well. 83 And... as for XR's mental age, it seems to be very confused... his thought processes and desires seem to to be more or less on the level of an adult, but his emotional maturity seems much lower. And thanks Shauni. X3

I wasn't talking about Kila's avatar, ok? I meant Nosgirl's avatar is gross.

Heh, I haven't seen this episode either(not for long...), But with the voice of Cree Summer, I just see it now. Trust me, I've read enough reviews to figure out Savvy's personality, and the way she was nice to XR, and the whole eye simalarity thing-a-ma-jig. xD -must record the epi when it comes on in...7 days...- I think it's seven days...

It's plausible and anyway Savy did show a liking to XR. Anyway maybe in the future they may be a couple(since 42 did dump him).

I think of Savy as basically a more streetwise version of Niko, the girl from RoboCop 3. They're very similar characters. The OCP (routine enemy of RoboCop) killed Niko's parents. NOS (routine enemy of XR) kills Savy's parents. Nobody cares about the ghetto of Old Detroit Niko lived in. Nobody cares about the ghetto part of Tradeworld Savy lives in. Robocop, with some help from Niko, manages to defeat the OCP's plans for Old Detroit. XR and Savy manage to defeat NOS's plans for, well, the universe. In fact, XR's backstory is somewhat like RoboCop's, from activation onwards. RoboCop was supposed to be the future of law enforcement. He was pushed into a police force who didn't quite approve of the idea. He was built without much of a personality, and initially had no real social interaction. However, he develops one later, as Murphy surfaces. XR was supposed to be the future of space justice. He was pushed into Star Command, though Nebula didn't quite approve of the idea. He too was built without much of a personality, and initially had no real social interaction. However, he develops one later. Ok, so not perfect, but you get the idea.

Man, that's a ridiculous number of parallels. XD Now I wanna get into RoboCop.
I've never much liked Savy as a character. She seemed a bit too much like a perfect cliche: The Streetwise Kid with a Heart Of Gold who wants Revenge Against Someone Who Hurt Someone Close To Her, and in the end she Joins The Side Of Good. And she's got Biting Wit and Knowledge Beyond Her Years. These all aren't necessarily bad things, they've just kept her from being all that interesting to me.
Even so, I can see how the pairing would work. Savy and XR already have a positive relationship, XR reminds Savy of her dad (and Research Shows that quite often people choose to have relationships with people who remind them of their parent of the appropriate gender, no I do not spend too much time reading psychology articles), and if Savy grows up pretty XR's gonna be hitting on her anyway. Or, possibly, even if she isn't pretty. Perhaps just average. XR may be quite appreciative of the female figure but considering he fell for a space ship, I don't think he's gonna be too picky if he meets someone who likes him.
I doubt it'd work out in the long run, though. Savy doesn't seem like the type who'd want to be tied down for long; doing her duty (whatever it happens to be at the time) comes first, romance is a distant second. Maybe third or fourth, if she picks up some hobbies. She probably wouldn't like having to deal with someone as clingy as XR.
As a short relationship, though, I could see it.
(Why is it that in my mind, everytime XR could end up paired with someone, she has to dump him? Am I really that sadistic towards him without even realizing it?)

She's never seemed all that cliche to me (not that she's too terribly original, either, just not bad enough to be annoying, especially compared to DR. OZMA FURBANNA and other BLoSC offenders); but being a oneshot character she doesn't have much depth, either. Like, she could be interesting if she was worked on more. (Or made really annoying in the wrong hands. Enh.)
Well, that's part of the reason I like them together. XD Interesting conflict. (And, nah, they're not exactly the type to settle down in a beach house on Mohambas 6 with a litter of children.
...Oh, mother of Venus, what would they look like?! DDDD: )
So... yeah. Yeah, a short-term relationship.
Well, he doesn't really seem emotionally mature enough for a long-term relationship (though I do think he could be brought to that level of maturity with some character development without wrecking his personality. With a lot of skill. I don't plan to try it, but I think it could be done if you were careful. Just not with 42, she's a shrew). Thus, platonic friendship or unrequited pining works better. Actual girlfriends are not gonna last long.
