Awww. X3 You know, I really liked that. It's refreshing to see them 'just friends' when there are sooo many 'ONE TRUE LOVE1!1!!!' type fics out there...
including the ones I wrote ANYWAY... that was really cute.

((I stink at all that is mushy >.< Romantic stuff is not really my style. Give me humor any old day. This is probably going to be the last chapter.))

The next day was back to work as usual. The moment Booster stepped back onto 42, he met the gaze of all of his crewmates.
"Good to have you back, ranger." Buzz nodded with a small smile.
"Yeah, yeah, enough with the idle chit-chat." XR wheeled over and made himself Booster's height again. "So, how did it go?" He asked eagerly. "Was there any..." He kissed the glass in the same manner as when he was mocking Mira.
Booster shuffled his feet and smiled. "Well...yeah."
"Wait, what? Really?!" XR didn't actually expect that answer. "That is some girl. So when are you seeing her again?"
"Oh, well about that," He walked over and took his seat. "We decided to just be friends."
The crew frowned. "Poor Booster." Mira said.
"I knew it! Women cannot be trusted!" Buzz said angrily as his old memories came back to him, then he remembered Mira was sitting right next to him giving him a nasty look and he smiled sheepishly. "Present company excluded, of course."
"Oho, I knew it from the minute I saw her, that little..." XR clenched his robotic hands into fists.
"Guys! Guys!" Booster interrupted. "Actually I was the one who wanted to be friends."
"Are you familiar with the phrase 'does not compute'? What's wrong with you, man?! How could you dump her right after she kissed you?"
"Um, actually she kissed me afterwards, just to be sure." He shrugged and smiled a little. "I'm really okay, guys. Honestly. The more time we spent together, the more I just realized she wasn't my type, and I don't think I was really her type either. But I got a new friend out of it, and I'm happy with that."
"Well all right, then. Glad to hear it." Buzz nodded and started the ignition. "Let's get to work, people!"
"Aye aye, sir!" They all replied in unison.
Meanwhile...
Artemis was sitting in her room (with silver painted walls, stars on the ceiling, and a couple of posters on the wall of hot, muscular guys, as well as a gigantic landscape holo-painting of the full moon by the beach. There was a small table next to her bed that had a little fountain atop it.) on her bed with a small journal.
Dear Diary,
Yesterday I got to go to Jo-Ad, it was the first time I had seen the planet. It was mostly one big farm, so the landscape wasn't that interesting, but the festival was a blast! Booster looked like he was having fun, too. ^.^ He was really a nice guy, but a little too passive for me.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes walking all over guys to get anything and everything I want can be fun, but most of the time it gets really boring. There's no challenge to it, and besides, how can I find a guy who looks cute when he's angry if he never gets angry?
Oh well. You know as well as I do that the whole relationship thing isn't for me anyways. There's too much drama and work involved, and from what I've seen so far, there isn't a guy out there that's really worth it. I already have someone who loves me despite my goofiness, takes care of me and gives me what I want. I've got my big brother, and I still love him even if he is boring, scrawny, and bossy.
PS. Apollo, quit reading my diary!
She shut the book just as her brother entered, holding Truffles by the scruff of her neck. He set the animal down next to Artemis, and it gave a large yawn and cuddled up next to her.
"Oh sure, be nice for her. That thing piddled all over my newspaper!"
"Aw, that's great! The paper-training is already working. That's my good girl!" She patted the poof of fur on the puppy's head and Truffles wagged her tail.
"WHILE I WAS READING IT!" He yelled out in frustration and let his hands ignite, then took a deep breath and quickly calmed down. "Look, I'm still processing the data we picked up from Lightyear. So far, there's nothing promising. He did manage to report on our little mission to finance that creature of yours, but luckily he couldn't get a suspect. And bribing the robot wasn't too helpful, but he did mention the little green men that are basically the backbone of Star Command. He didn't specify, but from the information I got, taking one is impossible. They're all linked together somehow. Oh well, I'm sure I'll think of something. In the meantime...keep that thing away from me." He walked out.
She smiled and opened her desk drawer, pulling out a brush and other assorted grooming supplies, and began to brush Truffles. -------------------------------------------------
