I would cry if Wayne Knight didn't come back to do Zurg... and Stephen Furst has a cute charm about him as Booster, I'd hate to see him go. Nicole I can frankly do without. Her voice kinda bugs me sometimes... reminds me of someone I know, and it keeps me from liking her. DDD: But whoa, hold the phone, there're two different VAs for XR?? I so did not know that! What are good eps to tell them apart from?

WAYNE KIIIIIGHT YEEES WE NEEEED HIIIIM
newman. <3
YES, THERE ARE DEFINITELY TWO VAs FORXR AND ONE SUCKS. (I think so, anyway, but who am I. Just your King of Town. Bah.) 'Downloaded' and 'Head Case' are two very different-sounding eps, IMO... or there's 'The Slayer' but that's just messed uuuup and NOSgirls all agree.

Hmm, alrighty. I'll watch those two eps one after the other and compare and contrast. XDD
And yeeees, The Slayer was so darn messed up I couldn't help but cringe at times. DDD:

Yeah, don't get us started on "Slayer" we could rant about that one all day...(WAS EACH FRAME DRAWN ON A NAPKIN IN A BAR SOMEWHERE OR SOMETHING!? GAWD!)
I personally woudl want all the VAs to come back, I couldn't live without any of them, (I dunno, I thought that Patrick did a fine job of being Buzz) I think the only one we could all live without is Klerm...
Another thing I'd like to see in the series is a Halloween special. Not like a "Ooh, it's Halloween, so we'll play a NOS episode or 'Haunted Moon', I mean like a Bona-fide, meant-to-be-played-once-a-year Halloween episode. I'm talking like a episode with a Halloween-y atmosphere like the way it was all Christmasy in "Holiday Time".

Halloween is my least favorite holiday, so I'm not too upset that they didn't make one of those... also because it really makes very little sense for all those alien cultures to be celebrating American holidays. I know the Alliance seems to function a lot like America, but part of me rebels and goes 'THIS IS SPACE... BE SPACIERRR'
In fact, you know what? THAT'S what I'd want from Season Three. More elements in the series that make it clear this is NOT Earth and there are other, alien cultures and stuff and worlds that work differently from what we know, because they're alien. Heck, our own planet has so much diversity- you'd think all the mishmash of alien cultures in BLoSC would be mind-boggling.
Okay, that's probably too much to ask of a cartoon, but it'd still be really cool.

But HOW could that be if whole thing is centered around the magnetism of EARTH Kila, halloween is also my least favorite holyday, much love <3, three doesn't do it, let's give it a five <5 yes Xr, it ruins the whole heart thing, but you have two in your eyes, two.

About the Valkyran (sp?) Raiders, I never took it to mean "northern galaxy" or "southern galaxy", I took it to mean "north on the planet the Valkyrans live on", because they MUST have a planet of origin, so I guess that never really bothered me...
And as I'm thinking about the Christmas ep, and how it doesn't exactly make sense for Christmas being celebrated on Capital planet, maybe that's just this quadrant in the galaxy, maybe in other parts of the galaxy there's no equivalent to Christmas, so life is going on there...
(I kind of like halloween, if only to dress up as cartoon characters...If nothing else, I'd want to see what the writers would do with it...)

Well, I actually think they were referring to the Valkyrian homeworld there, so that part makes sense... but so much else does not. And it's frustrating because there are soooo maaaany cool things you can do with space.

Oh I agree, just look at Star Trek...
But that's more science-y than comedy...but you get what I mean.

Thing is, they kind of make it like such and understatement, it bothered me, kind of still does, but I can just let go.

So did I. Because, as a wise man once said defensively, "Lots of planets have a north!"

But, see, they're unlikely to actually call it north, because how many alien species do you think are going to speak English? Or German or Russian or anything we can understand, for that matter?
I wish there were different languages and stuff in BLoSC, that'd be sooo coull.

I dunno...I think it's alright as is, if I wanted to listen to different languages, I'd watch a Star Trek...that's kind of one of the things I like about BLoSC, it doesn't take itself too seriously...

ok, let me defend my point here now that the discussions is still going, let's cut the crap, they say "north and south", but they really mean north and south of Usa, applied to a space cartoon, that's the whole joke, like with the refresher in Xr on that other episode, the whole joke is to compare it to car refreshers, we can justify it with dust and scent needs, but it really isn't the reason, it's a car joke, as simply as that.
From what I understand southern regions of Usa are more rural, or at least it has a soil that is more suitable for farming. I remember that Brooke Shields was once in a sitcom where she played a farm girl, whose strength was exaggerated, at least in relation to other women, just like that they were trying to pass Buzz as strong southern lady.
A planet is a big thing, if you are going to refer to the region of a certain area, you talk about an specific country, how many countries are there in the south of a continent? how many states are there in each? how many cities in each state?, Accents can vary greatly from city to city, heck, Canada and China even have two different languages in them (English-French, Mandarin-Cantonese, but not limited to).
So I really don't think you can say "southern accent" or however it was, for the south of a planet, it's way too global, to top it all, the Valkyries responded she was from there, no hesitation, no question that he could have been from a different southern area as she is.
