Oh, very. One of the producers must have been having a bad day.

This show sometimes gets away with a lot of stuff, nothing really over-the-top or anything like that, just stuff that you wouldn't expect in a Disney cartoon.

I don't think that the producers even CARED very much about the show. It just seems that they were more than happy to just get some of the episodes over with in as little time as possible.

Yeah. Sad, isn't it? Though it makes sense - the way they're willing to let XR just get blown up for laughs, the way they don't really care if their love interests are Mary Sues, the way they make Booster OOC in Wirewolf ...
I could go on, but I won't.

I think that they make him blow up because for some reason almost ANY form of violence seems to draw people into shows and movies now adays

Another terrible fact. A show shouldn't have to have violence in it in order for people to like it.

I know. In a science class we were learning about the mind and this somehow came up: WE put a list on the board of all our favorite shows, we put up 20. Then we checked off the ones that did not have violence and we crossed off 2. They were Pooh Bear and Dora the Explorer
Anyway, back on topic. there is not much violence in the show but enough to draw in kids. I am included in that, but had not realized it until now. Including this episode

Yeah, I think the "violence" kinda pulled me too. But I like the show for the duologue.

It's not really very violent when XR gets blown up. As Kila stated, it's really only used for cheap laughs. Which makes it even sadder.
"Oh, let's just make XR blow up in this scene. That'll make people laugh, 'cuz no one really cares about him anyway." DX
In some episodes, like this one with the turning off XR bit, it seems like the creators are sacrificing both plot and the characters in order to get laughs. Which is a turn-off in my mind.

I see what you mean. The things they do for more viewers

Exactly. And it's kinda sad that they have to resort to that - since BloSC was never really a popular show anyway.
"Oh, the viewers want a love-interest for XR. LETS MAKE A CRAPPY ONE!" DX

I WISH the show had been more popular, but nooo. They just HAD to take it off the air.
