I just saw it yesterday. Best one EVER. I loved the Patronus scene. Fred and George's rebellion was just as awesome as I imagined it. And Michael Gambon totally toned down his portrayal of Dumbledore, which made me happy. ^_^ The fight scene was awesome, the effects were stunning and never over-done. The acting is definitely the best of all five. And I love the music. Nicholas Hooper created a beautiful, diverse score for the film. This is a must-have soundtrack for me. ;3 So, for the other Potter fans out there; what did you think?

i just saw it like an hour ago and i have to say i was a little disappointed with the fight scenes. i was waiting for harry and voldie to duke it out and the statues to come to life to protect harry and the phoenix to save dumblebore, and more explainations from dumbledore. it was true to the book, and it was a good adaptation, i was on the edge of my seat, but it moved too fast for me, i guess that's what happens when you cram a 700pg book in 2 hrs. it was good so anyone reading this, do go see it. i was crying when **he** fell behind the black veil *cries*

i didn't see it, but my friend did. in Imax. she said that the scenes were a little fast and that her favorite character (lupin) didn't show up enough... there were also a lot of details they cut out... (i know that there wasn't enough time to squeeze in every detail from the book, but it still made me sad... )

IMAX! *faints* IMAX Order of the Phoenix would rock... i was waiting for harry and voldie to duke it out and the statues to come to life to protect harry and the phoenix to save dumblebore, and more explainations from dumbledore. I forgot about the statues! Yeah, I was disappointed that they didn't bring Fawkes back- they don't give him nearly enough screen time. ;3 I thought the fight scene was pretty cool, though; that giant ball of water was awesome. That whole scene up through Harry's possession had me bawling...

I'm seeing it tomorrow! I was supposed to go opening night, but as we all know, grubs are NEVER on time on ANYTHING. that's ok...I made them scrub the halls thrice *feels evil and proud of it*
Can't wait to see it! Especially DA making havoc for the new, temporary headmaster.

i think Harry is a horcrux. ya know how Voldamort transmutes his soul into certain objects, but part of him dies when the horcrux is destroyed (diary in Chambers), and harry has part of Voldamort in him so........... that's what i think, but **he** could come back through the paintings!!!!

all i really hope is that harry won't die, but i have noticed, i don't know if anyone else has, but i've noticed that her books are written in past-tense, like it already happened.........

Well, most books are written in the past tense. Present tense is very tricky, and I don't think it's good for writing a novel in, especially a long one.
Unless you meant something else. I haven't read the later books.

I...and you're probably going to look at me oddly...couldn't cry during the books. No tears came out! I knew it was really sad and heart-strickening, but I just couldn't cry.
Do I have problems, Doctor? Operate? Surely you can't be serious!
