Actually, I had no faith in CGI before MTR. Now I do.

... I didn't go see it cause I thought it would be bad!... and I went to see the pixar rat movie... -_-.
I even expected this to be a topic where you tell us how bad it was : O

No, it was really good. The actual plot really doesn't have much to do with the trailers... at all.

Yeah, one of my friends has seen it and she said it was good. I actually want to see it now.
Yeah, I know, the trailers turned me off at first, but I could say the same thing about many other movies that I ended up liking that had stupid trailers.

Well, the plot of MTR is kind of complicated and easy to spoiler, so that could be why the trailers were all vague.
Basically, it's a story about this misfit inventor kid, Lewis, who meets a kid from the future, Wilbur, who coaxes Lewis into helping him catch this tall guy in a bowler hat who stole Wilbur's dad's time machine. Only then they get into the future and Lewis runs off and gets entangled with Wilbur's future-family. And then Bowler Hat Guy shows up and...
...it's REALLY easy to spoiler.
