Okay, I'm writing a screenplay and I'm going to write a summary/pitch and I want comments on it and whether it sounds like a movie you'd pay to see. It's a superhero action romance movie, starring characters a friend and I made for an RP.
Six years ago, Artie Luhrman helplessly watched a mysterious suited man drag his mother off into the night. From that point onwards, he was obsessed with finding the truth. Flash forward, now. Artie is a geeky, crazy prepared paranoid conspiracy theorist and Hacker with a crush on Stephanie Daniels, a much more popular girl next door. He realizes she tends to disappear a bit, and there have been sightings of a teenaged superhuman with various abilities, including shapeshifting into technology, in the area. Of course, being the guy he is, he hacks the federal database, finds the traditional elements of an origin story, including a government scientist dad, an unfortunate accident, and a last-ditch attempt to save her life. He puts one and one together, and figures out she is indeed the superheroine. After he gets the guts to tell her, he then finds the link between a series of disappearances that happened nationwide- government employment, and according to the pattern, her dad's next! The government then comes after the two of them with a secret weapon- his mother, "converted" into a mechanized 2.0 trooper! Armed with his knowledge and her organic metal powers, they then embark on a mission to reveal a real government conspiracy, and fall in love over the course of it.

I would so pay to see this!! Is this coming to a city near me? Hopefully, if I can ever sell the screenplay. Gotta get to legal age first, though, so it'll be a good several years at the minimum before I can even start shopping around to studios.
