Splitting it over the past two nights, I've watched this movie for the very first time! AND I LOVE IT!!! It's a Wonderful Life is such a beautiful movie! Maaan, I wish I'd seen it a few years ago when I first really knew about it, but we never seemed to get around to it, despite my begging. This Christmas, we finally managed it, and it was wonderful! If you've never seen it, GO WATCH IT. It's a classic, and now I understand why!

It is a classic. A good movie to watch each year. What also is a good classic and I highly recommend it, is A Christmas Story. It's a wonderful movie that's tradition for me to watch the 24-hour marathon each year.

That was you're first time!?! Isn't it an awesome show? We ordered it from Netflix and were watching it for like a week. One of my all-time favs.

@steel: you're kidding! O.O It's a Wonderful Life is a famous American classic! Oh gee... Well, I've never tried looking it up on YouTube, but I betcha you can find something there. And you can definitely look it up on Wikipedia. Are you sure you've never heard of it?? You MUST find it and watch it!! @cherry: A Christmas Story? *cocks head* What's it about? @kj: Yeah, first time. First it was because Daddy never wanted to watch it because he'd seen it too many times back in the day when TV would air it ALL THE TIME. Then it was because we always have so many Christmas shows to watch, and Mama never seemed to really be serious about putting the movie on the schedule. This year, we finally made it!!! ...To be perfectly honest, though, I'd seen quite a bit of the dream/alternate-world part before, in Sunday school, once - several years ago. It IS awesome, and it's DEFINITELY a favorite now! ...I wanna watch it again soon!

@sky: A Christmas story is an amazing funny movie narrated by an older version of the main character, Ralphy, who explains in detail of how he spent Christmas, and the days before that, when he was nine years old, going through things that not every 1960's household would go through.
This movie has a unique taste to it. It's not like every other holiday film but it's fun to watch and has morals in it that are hard to catch in the beginning, but once you're done with the movie you figure out what they were. I recommend it to every family, it's worth the watch.

*gasp* I know that movie!! That show has some absolutely hilarious scenes. Definitely has it's own flavor, but once you've watched in and thought about it, it's soo worth watching.
