Pixar is working on a new movie based on the toys for 2010, old news I know. Who thinks that this will help us get new episodes?... I don't frankly, eh but it could make a good discussion. I remember back in 2004 or so when I heard that pixar would no longer make movies for disney, it was then that I started imagining "what would it be like if we got new episodes" (because it was sure to not happen), it's hard to explain how it felt, but it was a lot like a dream, mixed with happy future, you know?. I only ever experienced something like this in reality when I saw Batman Beyond in Justice League Unlimited (TOO LOLSOME). So afterwards there was the new poster of "Toy Story 3", yay! more possible but still unlikely, and now it's 2007, if it were to be released right now...well, odds wouldn't be as bad as the actual release date of Toy Story 3, 2010. For when it hit the theaters TEN YEARS would have passed since the dvd release of the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, and cartoon series. Consider how tale spin was successful (it was right?, I liked it but I don't really know), then came jungle book 2 and what they did was this mildly entertaining cartoon called jungle cubs. Now, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command luckily almost got the top amount of episodes, 62. No cartoon that I know (from united states) has passed 64. If they were to pick up the cartoon they would have to change the title like they did with Justice League and mucha lucha. Can you imagine? My guess is that it could be something like: Buzz Lightyear: Adventures Beyond Buzz Lightyear: Beyond the Galaxy Buzz Lightyear: Missions Beyond Buzz Lightyear: Universe Beyond Buzz Lightyear: Commando Buzz Lightyear: Earth missions (and who knows they end up meeting woody and all of the other characters from the toy movies I don't really care about : D) hey, and even: Buzz: Lightyear Force (he he, gotta dream you know?). Here is link to the wikepedia article on the movie: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toy_story_3Your turn, thoughts?.

maybe they might make some reference to the Star Command eps but as a toy line. Since Woody had his toy line with jesse and bulls eye, maybe they'll make Buzz have his own toy line with Mira (as a barbie doll XD) Booster (action figure with punching action) and XR (the remote control robot)
I like the Beyond the Galaxy, but how about Beyond Infinity?

ah... if only. But I doubt pixar gives two craps about the characters we love. Here's to it happening *crosses fingars*
All the merchandise attention they would get if it happened!. I've always thought that if Booster were merchandisable I would be his who-HEY! I shouldn't finish that word...
Beyond Infinity?, sounds LOLSOME to me!.

But I doubt pixar gives two craps about the characters we love. Pixar cares a great deal about its audience. They don't make references to BLoSC because they didn't make it.

Disney made it. Jeff Pidgeon is the only one from Pixar who was actually involved in the series. (He's credited as "Creative Consultant from Pixar.")
This was actually the reason I avoided the show for so long. I thought it was just a cheap Disney spin-off. Disney tend to milk things out for far too long.
I don't know why Pixar didn't make it; but they have stated that they don't even make movie sequels unless they have a fantastic storyline. They put all of their efforts into their own films and shorts.

okkeeeey?
you are interpreting it as if I had said that they didn't care about us, what I said was that they don't care about the characters of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. I just said "we love" to not repite Buzz Lightyear of Star Command over and over.

Oh... okay.
I don't agree that Pixar doesn't care; they've made references to many other works besides their own.

Any sign that they care about Buzz Lightyear of Star Command would be great. As of right know (at least for me) they don't care until proven the contrary.
In fact I've always imagined that if they were going to do something involving Buzz and his background for the toy movies they would come up with a lot of stuff not minding if it contradicts the show.

i like the idea of an XR remote control thingy I have one of those =D NEW EPISODES, REDRAGE?! Holy cow! The possibility of new episodes NEVER would have occurred to me EVERR. But I don't think it's likely. Even if it DID happen, new episodes would probably be really, really different, Flash-type animation, different voice actors for everyone (and trust me, if Booster had a new VA you'd hate that), and it would just be... really weird and different. BUT... maaaaybe we can hope for a DVD release. I doubt a DVD would have all the episodes on it or even close to all, but it would be 1337TASTIC.

hey, and even: Buzz: Lightyear Force (he he, gotta dream you know?). Hey! XD I'd freak if they name a new BLoSC series with that name XD Back on topic. I have heard of a Toy Story 3 for a while now, but I never thought they'd actually make a Toy Story 3. This is neat news. And like you guys said, I really hope and would love for Pixar to include Buzz's toy line in this new movie. Would be very nice to see Booster, Mira and XR again. And a revival for the BLoSC series? I really wish! Although if they do I really hope the original voice actors return to reprise their role if they do make a new BLoSC series.

I would have to hear it to judge, maybe I wouldn't hate it, because the orignal voice of Stephen Furst is the one I dislike the most out of the 5 adaptations I've heard. In Spanish he kind of sounds slow, think of Patrick Star, but when he had to change his voice to make Booster sounds angry, evil or monstrous (like in Bunzel Fever and the taking of pc-7) he pulled it out nicely, in English he couldn't help but still sound ridiculously silly <.<. Changes could even be a good thing, if it were to be called "Buzz Lightyear: Beyond Infinity", they would have to make the series more epic, like "The Universe is about to blow up" epic. WE HAVE TO KILL CELL EPIC
