O HAI
Today's meeting is to discuss the tallnesses and such of the characters.
>.>...
I used to think Buzz was very short, one because in toy story when standing next to woody he looked a little like a... well, short person. Two because his head is so big. Three, because of that episode that introduced the gargantians, the "ranger" was taller than him.
But then I saw someone's comment saying that Buzz is tall? o.o ror wut
Anyways, I haven't figured exactly who is taller, if Mira or Buzz. It seem that they are of about the same size, or that in reality Buzz is taller but Mira wins by hair(do), I don't know for sure.
I used to think Booster was some 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) tall. But then I started comparring screenshots of the cartoon, from the movie and random episode with Buzz and Booster next to each other. I found the best match when I put Booster as 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) tall, and Buzz as 1.8 meters (about 6 feet) tall, with most episdoes it seemed to be right.
1.8 meters (~6 feet) is the ideal height for males, academically speaking it's 8 heads of proportion, it's a very common canon for super heroes. So I think that is it, but I'm not sure.
In strange invasion, the Roswell standards were those of earth, why would they make a door so much taller than they need it, even for the tallest Roswellian?. Booster hit the door frame when he was entering Becky's room, makes sense, the ceiling in my house is as tall as (what I'm guessing) he is.
It seems that Xr is a meter tall (~3.3 feet). Sometimes I get the feeling they change his size by convinience, so I would say he is actually 1.2 meters tall (~4 feet), reaching Buzz's chest.
All of this would be much easier if we had the character sheets, but oh well, I guess not enough people cared about the cartoon for them to make it public.
