Since I fail at drawing them I tried to figure how they... are made/work etc (still can't draw them xD)
I find it irritating that that green part seems to be somewhat... soft. Due to Toy Story I somehow like to think of it as something plastic-like - which it isn't.
Then Mira's suit is really... different from all the other suits you get to see. The thing that's most interesting on her suit is the helmet I think. It's more like a bubble... not like a helmet. Where does the air come from? @@

I never realized the green parts were soft, where in the series do they show them as such?, I wanna know : o
I once read in wikipedia that they had adamatium on the inside, or something, they could spill it to attack... umm... it may have been bandalism. Suposedly Buzz used it once in the series, but I don't remember EVER seeing that.
Ok. This is it:
"The buttons on the left of the suit have numerous functions. Though it is unknown which button does what, when pressed the wearer will be able to contact Star Command, the headquarters of Buzz Lightyear and his allies. The suit also has a liquid adamantium-nitrogen layer which allows Buzz to withstand virtually any physical attack and gives Buzz an effective weapon to use against psychics. It is unknown whether Buzz can shoot out the liquid at will or if it has a mind of it's own. During the end of his TV series it shows Buzz only using the weapon once, and after much work. Buzz has to re-work his suit and jerk it around and only after much technological repair can the liquid shoot out onto his enemies."
Lol whut, I'm gonna go web swinging now.

I never realized the green parts were soft, where in the series do they show them as such?, I wanna know : o Definitve in the end of 42 where XR is holding on Booster's suit. There are more examples, but I can't look them up right now... xD I believe that there was one part in Super-Nova too...

OMAGOSH I JUST SAW THAT
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!
I don't know about you, but I'm gonna go ahead and ignore this, along with some other few things that don't make sense in the series.
To me they are hard, period O.O

YES.
thank you.
Direct quote from Buzz: "That suit was made out of a terillium-carbonic alloy"
Which is the same thing XR and the ships are made of, therefore it is hard.

Maybe it's the main-material and the green colored... whatever is just a clothing that they added to make it... look better? oo" As to say... Hard material wrapped in green drapery.

Maybe they added that soft squishy-ness to Booster's suit, because it needs to be a little more flexible, because Booster is ... well larger than the average ranger.
Of course, if they did this in other episodes, then the green stuff could just be different, like Levy said.

I think the suits are hard, made out of a strong metal. But given it's still something they get to wear every day, it has to be flexible.
In TAB, the suit stretches a lot before Booster breaks it. But I just can't get into the idea of the green part being cloth.

XR looks like he has skin a few times in the series, but he obviously doesn't.
So... I think the suits looking like cloth is the same deal. Sometimes animation is mucho unrealistic.
Actually, change 'sometimes' to 'usually'. XD;
So... yeah. They're not cloth.

yeah, they animate his mouth like he had flexible lips, and stuff. I think they did the same thing with tranformers in the '80s (I didn't watch tranformers as a kid, so I'm not too sure).

The suit also has a liquid adamantium-nitrogen layer which allows Buzz to withstand virtually any physical attack and gives Buzz an effective weapon to use against psychics. Um, whut? I think whoever wrote that made it up. A weapon against psychics? Is he fighting Pokemon now? Or does Mira count as a psychic? Yes yes. ;D It's there for expression purposes, yes?

yeah--- as I said, it may have been bandalism. For all I know adamatium is a copyrighted word and no one but marvel is allowed to use it (could be...).
