Alright! After hours of throwing away designs and styles, I think I finally developed a nice enough image of your characters! I'm doing the background right now....and I have one last question lingering.
How big are the entities? Size of Cosmic proportions, or mortal-sized? Middle perhaps? I want to have the Zurg-E doing something if it's cosmic XD

Hey eez, make sure you post it on your own topic. I also want to have my own take at this universe, and I don't want unconsciously rip off your designs. So you know I'll be checking yours after I'm done with mine (which will probably be in a long time).

Don't let their size fool you, they're very powerful Lightyear beings.

qorg.deviantart.com/art/Nebula-C-64913161There's the good guy, Netto! Sorry about not having him fight the big Z...I decided to scrap that idea at the last second. Not enough space, and memory for a pic of those proportions. Hope you enjoy! I'll do Zurg-E soon enough

Thank you! I think I could have done a better job in Flash, but that would make it too cartoony, and not all glowy like PS. Took me forever to get the detail remotely to what you said! Especially the head, and arms.
Zurg-E will come out demonic like you wanted >D

Despite it being an hour after school, Buzz Stellar is standing in the school’s rooftop park looking out at the city below. It’s an amazing sight from up there, so Stellar stayed after school just to watch the relaxing view after taking out such a huge opponent as the ZE-Hornet earlier today, right?
“Are you ready, Stellar?”
Wrong.
Stellar nods in agreement. “Yeah.”
“So far you have been achieving the Lightyear Form only because I’ve been doing it myself.” Nebula-C explained to his human partner. “However, since both our electromagnetic waves have been infused properly together for the past couple of days, I have no doubt you should have some will control over it by now.”
Buzz looks down at the StarCom, trying to see if he understands his Lightyear partner. “In other words I can do a Lightyear Change all by myself, right?”
“Basically.”
Stellar smiles a bit and nods. “All right, let me see if I have a grasp on this.”
Stellar throws his arm with the StarCom forward before bending it upward with his other hand closed into a fist over the StarCom. “Lightyear Change! Buzz Stellar!” He then lowers his arm with the StarCom a bit before throwing it up, holding up high into the air, his focus on the Lightyear energy in him. “To infinity and beyond!”
Green Lightyear energy flows out from his StarCom and engulfs the boy, overflowing his body with Lightyear energy. Like always he dons white armor with green lines on the chestplate, gloves, wrists and boots. He then opens his eyes and jumps with a spin, breaking out of the green flare and lands firmly on his feet on the floor. With the Lightyear Change complete, he is now Buzz Lightyear! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 3: Lightyear Change!
“Lightyear Change!” ---------------------------------------------------------------- Buzz looks at his hands and slowly opens and closes his fists, feeling if everything’s normal just in case he may have done something wrong. “All right, I did it.” Buzz sounds happy with himself that he successfully performed the Lightyear Change all by himself.
“Hm, still conscious…” Nebula-C comments with a chuckle. “You’re a quick learner, but you’ll have to learn more about your abilities and strengths as a Lightyear if you want to stand a chance against the Emperor, that’s why I suggested for you to practice in the Lightyear Form today.”
Buzz nods in understanding. “Yeah, but how am I going to do that?”
“Easy. You’re going to show me around the planet as a Lightyear.” Nebula-C instructs. “That way not only will I see more of this planet but you’ll also get some good exercise and practice out of it.”
Buzz frowns. Nebula-C is expecting him to go around the planet? He barely knows his way around the biggest part of this town, let alone around the planet. But then again, this could be a great way to have him get to know his own Lightyear Form and come up with new abilities and such. “Well…All right…”
“Well then what are we waiting for?!” Buzz suddenly felt his own body move by himself, no doubt Nebula-C’s influence in his Lightyear Form. “Let’s go, Stellar!”
Buzz shrieked and yelped in surprise as his own body moved about and suddenly made a high leap over the rooftop’s guard railing. Luckily Buzz regained control of his body and he trashed his legs and arms about as he’s trying to keep from plummeting down to the ground below. In a desperate fit Buzz lunged and held himself tightly against the fence from the outside, keeping himself from falling as he trembles from the sudden fright.
“Hey hey, Stellar. Grow some spine.” Nebula-C taunts as Buzz hangs on for dear life on the fence. “You fought against Hornets yet you’re afraid of a little height?”
“You can’t just make me jump off like that!” Buzz scolds angrily. “Humans don’t even do that if they want to live!”
“Peh, whatever.” Nebula-C doesn’t seem to care anyway. “Remember that while in the Lightyear Form a fall like that can’t even kill you, let alone wound you. Now let’s go!”
Buzz slowly nods and searches for a place to stand on. He sees a roof not too far ahead and with a great leap he jumps off the fence and propels through the air and lands on the roof of the building. With confidence Buzz takes a running start and jumps to another building with ease. This is awesome, Buzz thought, as light as a feather and he can jump from roof to roof with ease!
“Hey, Stellar.” Nebula-C starts, sounding a bit bored. “What are you doing with such a primitive means of moving?”
Buzz stops moving. “Uhhh…What do you mean?”
“With my Lightyear capabilities you have the ability to fly.” Nebula-C explained to his clueless partner. “Just focus on flight and you’ll summon your wings.”
Buzz seemed unsure, but he’ll give it a try. “Well, okay.” Buzz looked up at the sky and pictured himself flying around the skies, the feelings of wings behind him. In a few seconds a couple of wings come out on his back, a standard pair of wings suited for flight. Buzz looks behind him as he notices the extra weight and is surprised to see the wings. “Awesome…”
“That’s right, now you can fly. Finally…”
Buzz then had a thought and couldn’t help but narrow his eyes in annoyance. “Uhhh…Nebula? Why didn’t you told me this when I had to fight against that flying Hornet?!”
“I didn’t really felt like it.” Nebula-C just states.
“Really…” Buzz couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He had his life on the line against that monster and Nebula-C could care less about him knowing that he could fly. He’s such a character…
“Anyway,” Nebula-C started, changing the subject. “Time to wear in your wings, Stellar.”
Buzz nods and looks at the edge of the roof. Without even thinking Buzz made a running start and then jumped upon reaching the edge, intending on flying. However, the boy didn’t felt any difference as he just floated there in mid-air. Something’s not right; he didn’t feel like he was flying. He looks down and yells in fright before suddenly starting to flip his arms like wings, but it was all in vain as he suddenly felt gravity take its work and he plummets down to the ground. But then after falling a few feet he suddenly stops his fall and slowly floats upward, now he feels like he’s flying.
Buzz blinks, wondering what he did to make himself float like that.
“You’re hopeless, Stellar.” Nebula-C scolded. “Don’t jump just like that! You have to be relaxed and feel the Lightyear energy flowing through you and the wings!”
Buzz blushed in embarrassment. He was so excited about flying that he didn’t give it a second thought of doing the preparations before doing something as reckless as jumping off a rooftop. Buzz gave a sigh as he relaxes his mind and muscles, feeling that warm Lightyear energy in himself.
“All right, I’m going to let go now.” Nebula-C warned before releasing his energy from Stellar that’s keeping him afloat in mid-air.
Buzz nods, agreeing with Nebula-C letting him try this out himself. As soon as Nebula-C did so Buzz felt a sudden fall of his Lightyear energy in his body which made him a bit sluggish as he floated up and down instead of being steady in mid-air. Luckily though Buzz is a quick learner and in a few seconds he nails down the energy required to stay afloat and steady in the air. Buzz smiles as he’s steady in the air, finally nailing this down.
“That’s the ticket.” Nebula-C congratulates on seeing the job well done from Stellar.
Buzz grins, liking the feeling of this. He slowly ascends and descends before propelling himself forward to fly, slowly picking up speed and altitude as he gets better at this. He loves the feeling, the freedom of flying and the feeling of the wind blowing against his face, the cooling breeze as his hair is brushed back with the wind. He smiles and relaxes as he flies around, seeing the city down below. So this is one of the Lightyear Form’s abilities, Buzz thought with a smile.
“So, how does it feel to fly around?”
“Awesome! I always wanted to fly!” Stellar was enjoying this, the freedom of flight, the feeling of the wind blowing; it’s all so beautiful and relaxing. “I could be like this forever…”
“Heh…” Nebula-C doesn’t share the same opinion as Stellar’s, since he has spent his whole life flying it is nothing special for him. Heck, Nebula-C takes shape of an eagle for crying out loud.
“Is there anything that I can do in this form?” Buzz asks a bit psyched as to learn more.
“You’ll learn them as you win the rights to know them.” Nebula-C responds.
Buzz frowns with a mild glare. “Bah, you’re no fun…”
“Watch it or I can easily change you back to normal,” Nebula-C threatens the boy. “And trust me, you won’t like the fall.”
Buzz gulps, looking very alarm. “You wouldn’t…” Suddenly Buzz flashes out of the Lightyear Form and into his normal form while in mid-air! Buzz panics and trashes his arms and legs trying as to not to fall before finally flashing back in his Lightyear Form, saving him from the death drop.
“I rest my case.” Nebula-C comments with a slight chuckle.
Buzz remains quiet as he keeps on flying over the city and into the vast forest area beyond the city limits, his mind still in terror after that little prank Nebula-C pulled on him; taking him out of the Lightyear Form all of a sudden like that threatening to drop him to his death, what a bully.
As Buzz keeps flying around, Nebula-C takes on the sights below. Lakes, trees, it’s all so beautiful for an entity who spent most of its life up in the dark vastness of space. Stellar keeps flying around cliffs and other forested areas, him too liking the sight from high up in the sky. He can’t believe he’s flying; he has dreamed a lot of flying and always wanted to try out the rocket packs of the Galaxy Police Force just to fly over the city. And now, thanks to Nebula-C, he can.
It wasn’t until Nebula-C told him to that Buzz landed on the edge of a cliff of a far off canyon miles away from the city, sitting on the edge of it watching the scenery of the canyon. As Buzz watches the scenery after an hour of flying around Nebula-C materializes out of Buzz and floats there next to him. Despite Buzz being in the Lightyear Form Nebula-C can still separate from him and his StarCom.
Buzz smiles as he views the scenery. “It’s a nice view, huh?”
“It reminds me of a planet I’ve been to before,” Nebula-C comments as it too watches the scenery. “I believe space travelers call it Planet X.”
“Never heard of it.”
“I wasn’t expecting you to.”
Buzz hums to himself in annoyance, sometimes Nebula-C’s attitude gets on his nerves. But who can blame him, always in space where there’s basically no one to talk to, just other fellow Lightyears if they talk to each other that is. Buzz looks down at his Lightyear Form’s armor, still puzzled and impressed at how ordinary brain waves from every living being in the galaxy could create such powerful phenomena’s. It’s very bizarre.
“You do realize you’ll have to say goodbye to all of this eventually, right?”
Buzz snaps out of his thoughts upon hearing that. “Say goodbye to all of this?” Buzz echoes. “What do you mean, Nebula?”
Nebula-C looks at Buzz, returning his gaze. “You didn’t really think you’d fight against the Emperor while still staying here, right? Your brain must not be fully developed yet.”
Buzz glared at his Lightyear partner. “Don’t joke to me now, Nebula! Just what are you implying?”
“I’m saying that the longer we stay here, the more in danger we’ll put this planet in. The Emperor won’t stop its assaults until the Galactic Alliance Code is in its hands, and as time passes we’ll no doubt face off against its most powerful Z waves. Eventually it’ll launch an attack so powerful this planet will be toast.”
“No way…” Buzz felt his heart sink. He’ll have to leave behind everything he knows and loves? He’s endangering everything he cared about just by his mere presence? He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. But then again, wasn’t it a bit obvious he’d have to leave the planet in order to keep it safe from the Emperor’s attacks?
“We can still stay here for a while longer.” Nebula-C continues. “But at some point we’ll have to get our tails away from here to bring the fight to the Emperor, we won’t get anywhere by just letting the Emperor send its Z-Waves to us. So suck it up and enjoy your last days on this planet before we have to leave.”
Buzz frowned as his eyes lowered; the thought of leaving the planet was just too much. He didn’t want to leave behind his mom, his friends, anything. He just couldn’t imagine himself up there in space all by himself forever destined to fight the Emperor’s Z-Waves until the Emperor itself is taken down.
“If I have to…” Buzz cooed.
For the remaining hours of the day none of them spoke a word, while Buzz was silent as he flew around Nebula-C was silent for who knows what reason, probably because he felt bad for Buzz about leaving behind everything he ever knew and loved? Probably, but then again Nebula-C seems like the type to never care for other’s feelings.
As they flew over the night sky of the capital city Nebula-C spotted something to its right, a bright and shining object headed their way. Wait a minute, that’s no object…That’s a…Laser shot!
“Stellar!” Nebula-C suddenly shouted. “Look out! To your right!”
“Huh?” Buzz threw his head to the right and gasped upon seeing the thing coming right at him. With quick reflexes Buzz took out a Lightyear Badge and slammed it into the indentation. “Lightyear Badge! Formation!! Shield!”
The badge disappeared and a huge green and white shield materialized in Buzz’s hand. Quickly he brought up the shield and the laser shot collided directly against the shield with incredible force, pushing Buzz back by the incredible force and sending him flying back across the sky, the shield in his hand shattering in three pieces, just like that with ease.
“Gaaaah!” Buzz cries as his body crashes against the wall of a tall building, cracking the wall as he’s stuck indented in it.
“Stellar! Are you all right?!” Nebula-C inquired.
Buzz winced as he slowly tried to purge himself from his hole. “Yeah…Ow…”
“That was quite a powerful laser shot. No doubt, there’s a strong Hornet in the area.”
“Not a Hornet at all…”
Buzz looked up to a roof close by to see someone landing on it. It wasn’t a Hornet all right, it was this guy. This guy’s about the same height as Buzz Stellar. He wears a black armor with purple on the chest plate, gloves and boots with what seems to be a jetpack on its back. It also has a metallic left arm and a helmet which keeps its face hidden from Stellar, a rather evil looking purple helmet. With a Z logo on its chest and a shotgun-like weapon, no doubt it’s with the Emperor.
“Greetings, Buzz Lightyear.” The person greeted with a sort of robotic and evil voice.
Buzz gulps as he’s still stuck in the indentation to the building. “A-A Z-Wave?”
“No, it’s different from a Z-Wave, but he still reeks of it.” Nebula-C informs his partner with a hint of seriousness in its voice. “This guy isn’t being controlled against his will, he’s gone off the dead end and sided with the Emperor.”
“The name’s Agent Z,” The person, Agent Z, declares himself as he takes aim at Buzz with his shotgun. “Prepare to be destroyed, Lightyear.”
“Stellar!”
Buzz narrows his eyes and plants his hands on the building, pushing himself out of the indentation and back flipping to plant his feet on the building upside down, the shot of the shotgun narrowly missing him and shooting into the wall. Buzz launches himself off of the wall and shoots at Agent Z with his laser shots, but the enemy moves fast and out of the way, jumping off of the roof he was on and to another roof. Agent Z aims and shoots with his shotgun, the shot spreading as it travels, making the dodge incredibly hard.
Floating in mid-air with his wings Buzz crosses his arms in defense over his face and takes the shots, trying to block them as best he could as the shots slam hard against his body, stinging his whole body as he gets peppered by the shots. As the shots finished Buzz slowly looked over his defenses and gasped to see Agent Z launching at him with his jetpack, and before he could react the enemy was already on him and he tackled right into Buzz, knocking him away spinning into the sky.
Buzz regained his composure, his eyes rolling as he’s dizzy. He shakes it off and takes out a badge, slamming it into the indentation. “Lightyear Badge! Formation!! Gatling gun!”
The Gatling gun materialized in his hand as he took aim and squeezed the trigger, shooting a barrage of raid firing plasma bullets at Agent Z. But no matter the firing speed of this weapon Agent Z proved to be faster as he flew to avoid the bullets, not one is hitting him. Either Stellar has bad aim or this guy’s something else.
“You’ll have to do better than that!” Agent Z taunted as he dodged the shots with relative ease.
Buzz gritted his teeth as no bullets hit their target. Buzz dismissed the Gatling gun and took out another badge. “Lightyear Badge! Formation!! Machine gun!”
His machine gun materialized into his hand after inserting the badge into the indentation and flew after Agent Z. With careful aim he starts shooting at him with his machine gun, this time it’s sure to hit!
“Hah, trying to hit me with that puny weapon?” Agent Z dodged to the right and ascended as high as he could before turning around and, to Buzz’s sheer surprise, he takes out a badge just like his! The only difference is that his badge is black compared to his gold badges. “Let me show you a real weapon.” He sets the badge into his armor and a weapon materializes in his hand, a bulky cannon with a rocket sticking out of it.
Buzz stopped his shooting and gasped upon noticing the monster of a weapon. “Mother of venus…”
Agent Z aimed at Stellar. “Try to dodge this!”
“Stellar! That missile has homing capabilities!” Nebula-C told his partner as Agent Z fired. “Move it!!”
Buzz turned tail and began to flee from the rocket, at least he’s faster than it. Or maybe he thought of that too soon as the rocket began to slowly but surely gain up on him, threatening to blow him from any contact. Stellar aimed behind him as he flew forward and opened fire to the rocket with his machine gun, hoping the plasma bullets could take it down. Unfortunately the bullets just bounced off and before Buzz knew it the machine gun’s bullets were depleted and the gun dismisses itself.
“Aw c’mon!” Buzz curses his luck with that gun. He’s starting to hate it.
“Don’t you dare complain now, Stellar!” Nebula-C scolded. “You still have that missile to worry about!”
Buzz nodded as he felt a sweat going down his head. What can he do? He has an enemy, a worker of the Emperor, who can use weapon badges like him and is possibly stronger than he is. And now he has a missile following him, how can he dodge something like this? Buzz tried again with the weapon badges as he takes out one ready to formate it, but then…
“Stellar! Look at where you’re going!!”
Buzz looked ahead of him and screamed as he was heading to the window of a building! Too late to avoid it now, he covered his face as he flew right through the window, the missile following close behind.
BOOM!
Agent Z watched with confidence as the building which Buzz flew in exploded due to the missile he launched. He couldn’t help but chuckle, admiring his handiwork. “That’s the end of Buzz Lightyear…Disappointing though.”
Agent Z flew to the building, floating through the destroyed window and into the ruins inside. Fire was everywhere, everyday papers were incinerated and desks were turned over and destroyed. No doubt, the missile did its destructive power very well. But there’s just one problem. “Where’s the body…?”
“Lightyear Badge! Formation!! Bazooka!”
Agent Z was caught by surprise from the shout of Stellar’s formation. He looked below him to see light coming from the cracks of the floor before jumping out of the way and out of the building as a tremendous blast of power shoots through the floor, destroying the floor and leaving behind a whole where Buzz is lying down below it where he was buried under the debris with a big green bazooka in his hand.
Buzz sighed in relief as he gets up and stands by the window, looking out at Agent Z. “That was too close…”
“A second more and we could’ve kissed our tail goodbye.” Nebula-C’s head materialized next to Buzz as he looks at his human partner. “Now’s not the time to gaze, Stellar. Take him out with the best weapons you can carry!”
Buzz nods and takes out another badge, slamming it into the indentation. “Lightyear Badge! Formation!! Plasma launcher!”
A green launcher materializes and Buzz grabs it in his other hand, holding now the plasma launcher in his right hand and the bazooka in his left hand. Quite a heavy load, but in the Lightyear Form Buzz can hold them both at once. As he holds the two heavy weapons in his hands Buzz glares at Agent Z before activating his wings and flying toward him for the offensive.
“Impressive firepower.” Agent Z comments. “But let’s see if you can hit for squat.”
Buzz aggressively aims the plasma launcher and shoots powerful plasma grenade bullets at Agent Z, even if it doesn’t hit Agent Z has to deal with the explosion of the bullets exploding in mid-air.
As the bullets come Agent Z moves this way and that, flying up and down avoiding the shots, including the explosions. Aiming with both guns Stellar shoots, causing massive explosions in the sky and covering large areas of the sky. But Agent Z proves to know how to avoid the firepower as he moves swift and fast, avoiding each and every explosion.
“Hahah!” Agent Z laughs as he moves up and down and side to side, having fun with the dodging. “You’re good, Lightyear, I’ll give you that! But you can’t even land a blow on me!”
As the battle in the sky rages on people below in the city have scattered and ran off from the area, scared of getting hit in the crossfire. Citizens have contacted the Galaxy Police Force about the dogfight and they were quick to get to the scene as numerous police cruisers stop at the scene.
From the leading cruiser officer Ty Parsec comes out, looking up at the battle up in the sky. He then turns to his squad, motioning them to spread out and secure the area. “Move! Secure the area and move any civilians in the area!”
The squad agree and they spread out to secure the area. While they do so Ty takes out his binoculars and looks up through them, quickly spotting Buzz Lightyear shooting two heavy power weapons at what seems to be another person much like himself. “Lightyear…” Parsec lowers his binoculars but his eyes are still set up there. “Why is that lately I always find you in these crime scenes?”
Up above Buzz is focused on shooting Agent Z down, unaware of everything else around him. He stops his firing as the whole area in front of him is full of smoke and particles, which makes this even worse. Agent Z could be hiding in all that smoke and he won’t even know it. He got careless.
Suddenly Buzz looks over his shoulder and sees Agent Z right there behind him. He got really careless. Before Buzz could turn around and fire at him point blank Agent Z turns and kicks him, sending him flying across the sky and making him drop his weapons.
“Aaagh!”
“This is very fun!” Agent Z exclaims with a laugh after kicking the boy away. “C’mon, Lightyear! Let’s keep playing!”
“What are you going to do, Stellar?” Nebula-C asks as Buzz regains his composure and rubs his sore spot where Agent Z kicked him. “At this rate you’ll…”
“Might as well end it now.” Agent Z states as he takes out another badge and from it he materializes a weapon, a plasma magnum. He takes aim before pulling the trigger. “Goodnight, Buzz Lightyear!”
Buzz’s eye twitch, he has had enough. “I don’t think so! Lightyear Badge! Formation!! Plasma magnum!” He quickly takes out a badge and materializes the plasma magnum from it and aims, pulling the trigger at the same time Agent Z did. Ultimately the two bullets slam against each other, exploding in a huge explosion that nearly took out both Buzz and Agent Z.
“Waaaaah!!” Buzz screamed as the shock of the explosion sent him blown away through the sky.
“Gaaaarrrgh!” Agent Z screamed as he too was blown away.
Down below the explosion resulted in a strong gust of wind, prompting everyone below to brace themselves and cover their faces as the strong wind blows against them, nearly throwing them all off their feet.
“Guugh!” Ty grunted as the wind blew against him. As the wind dies down Ty slowly looks up, trying to find that meddling Buzz Lightyear. “Lightyear! What the heck are you doing to this city!”
As if Buzz will hear him through all the noise above.

Agent Z managed to regain his composure and altitude after the blow. As he straightened himself he looked around, trying to find his opponent. “Where did that runt go?”
He looked up at the still remaining smoke above him to try to find him, but he gets the surprise of his life as numerous plasma bullets rain down on him, peppering him with numerous damaging blows. What goes around comes around as they say. Agent Z grunts from the hits and gets into a defensive position to lessen the damage. That runt Buzz Lightyear used his plasma shotgun and did the same he did at the beginning of the fight!
From the smoke above Buzz shows up with his shotgun trained at his enemy. Without mercy he shoots again, the shot spreading into hundreds of small ones and once again pepper Agent Z with numerous of painful blows.
As Agent Z is blinded Buzz quickly flies over to him and smacks him with the blunt end of the shotgun before kicking him away and finishing it off with a close up shot from the shotgun, the results being Agent Z being shot down from the sky to the roof of a building below them.
Buzz breathes heavily as his shotgun is dismissed, growing tired and weary from the battle. He nearly falls from his flying position but stays afloat as he clutches his arm. “This guy…He just won’t quit…” He pants as he sees Agent Z coming out from his landing spot and taking to the skies again to face him.
“So you finally landed one on me.” Agent Z comments as he brushes the dirt off of his armor. “As expected, Lightyear.”
“This isn’t going to work.” Nebula-C chimes in as he takes notice of the difference between Buzz and Agent Z. “At this rate you’ll run out of Lightyear energy before this guy keels over. You better get out of here, Stellar.”
“I’m open for suggestions…” Buzz looks at his badges, frowning. “I’m running out of badges here…” Suddenly blinding lights shoot out from the ground below, temporarily blinding both Buzz and Agent Z as they cover their eyes. “Agh!”
“There!” One of the Galaxy Police unit shouts as they are illuminating both fighters with huge search lights.
“You two!” Ty shouts through a megaphone. “Buzz Lightyear and his friend! By the order of the Galaxy Police Force I place you two under arrest!”
Nebula-C scoffs. “Peh, how troublesome…” It takes note of Agent Z’s current blinding state and gets an idea. “Stellar! Now’s your chance!”
Buzz slowly opens his eyes and he too notices Agent Z’s blind state. Nebula’s right, this is his chance! Dealing with the light Buzz takes out another badge, slamming it into the indentation. “Lightyear Badge! Formation!! Plasma Pistol!”
A standard green and white plasma pistol materializes in Buzz’s hand. He twirls it in his hand and aims before pulling the trigger. The shot flies out of the pistol’s muzzle and strikes head-on to Agent Z helmet’s forehead, shooting him down from the sky and colliding against a rooftop. Shocked the police squad moves both search lights to the roof where Agent Z landed, which of course made Ty realize what they have done in a few seconds and recoil in anger to the others.
“Hey! Keep at least one search light on Lightyear!” He shouts in anger, making one of them move the search light at Buzz Lightyear. Unfortunately for them, Buzz Lightyear is nowhere to be found. He has escaped from them. Ty grunts in frustration as he slaps the palm of his hand to his forehead.
As for Agent Z the man slowly stands up, a plasma burn mark on the forehead of his helmet. How crafty, he thought to himself, to use interference to his advantage like this. He may have escaped him his time, but next time he’ll get him for sure. “The only thing he’s good at is running away…”
“You there!” Agent Z looked down at the Galaxy Police Force where Ty is shouting at him through a megaphone. “Identify yourself?! Are you a friend of Lightyear’s?!”
Agent Z just scoffed. “Please…”
Before the squad knew it Agent Z was surrounded by a black flare and instantly disappears from there, leaving the squad stumped as to what he did to do such an escape. Ty grumbled to himself in frustration for the enemy escaping him once more. This is seriously putting a damp to his reputation.

“I didn’t know the Emperor could give his power to someone to allow them to do a Lightyear Change like that.” Nebula-C commented as Buzz ran away from the scene, jumping from roof to roof and running since his energy is nearly depleted, not allowing him to fly away.
Buzz gritted his teeth as he keeps on running. “Fighting against Z-Wave bad guys is bad enough as it is. But now with this Agent Z running around…”
Nebula-C nods. “All the more reason to get off of this planet…I’m sorry Stellar, but our leave as to be immediately. I won’t tolerate anything as late as tomorrow morning. We can’t let this Agent Z clown find out who you really are and especially not allow him to get the Galactic Alliance Code!”
Only it is already too late. As Buzz is fleeing from the scene a black flare appears in front of the Capital Planet High, no doubt about it, whoever Lightyear Changed into Agent Z is this person.
As the flare dies down we slowly take a look at the person. Long black pants, a purple shirt with a black leather jacket over it, a rather malicious smile to his face and very short hair. He stands up straight with a smirk. “Heh…”
As he stands there a slight black aura emanates from him. “Not bad for your first match, Warp…” An evil malicious disembodied voice speaks.
Warp Darkmatter’s eyes narrow a bit more, a look that would creep out just about anybody. “Well, yeah…After all, I always knew Stellar was a wimp…”

It all started with a plot for revenge…
Warp Darkmatter was never one to live and forget. Stellar punched him in the face and he wanted to get revenge for that. He thought he would get him outside after class and punch him back to get back of him, but that all changed when that giant eagle-like creature attacked.
Then that guy showed up, a guy with white armor. This super guy destroyed the eagle creature, and just like that he disappeared, didn’t even stay behind to take in the glory of his victory and saving the whole school. It didn’t take long for this guy to get on his bad side…
The only good thing of that day was that school let them all off early because of this incident. Warp didn’t waste any time to try to find Stellar and make him get his after that punch. But while he was going around the city trying to find him, this small yellow creature came out of nowhere and began to chase him down the alleys of the city, trying to make him a victim.
As Warp ran away from this monster, another one showed up and blocked his path. And then, as soon as Warp saw it, this second monster reared up and attacked him with a head-on plasma shot that engulfed his whole body…
---------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 4: The Big Departure! Onward to Space!
“The Big Departure! Onward to Space!” ----------------------------------------------------------------
“Where…Where am I…?”
Warp was floating in some kind of dark void. Was he dead? He must’ve been after getting shot like that right in the face.
“No, you are not dead…At least not yet…” A dark and sinister voice called out to him. Warp jumped from the scare and looks around, trying to find the source of the voice.
“Who’s there?” Warp demanded. “Show yourself!”
“Oh, you don’t want me to do that, child…”
“Try me!”
“Very well.”
Warp was taken back as a black entity forms in front of him, a very sinister looking entity with black armor on its chest and wrists with a black helmet. Warp reacts back in fright from the sudden scare of such a monster. What is this thing?
“Do not be scared, I won’t kill you…That is, if you’re useful to me.”
Warp arches an eyebrow. Useful to him? Just how exactly is he going to be useful to this…This thing?
“You seem to hold a great hatred to one human…” This entity held out its hand and creates an image of sort in front of its hand, showing that same person Warp saw at school, a person dressed in white armor. “This Buzz Lightyear that has shown up recently…”
Warp just didn’t understand this guy. What is he getting at by showing him this Lightyear guy he saw yesterday? Is he trying to tell him something? Warp’s eyes suddenly bulged as he felt a burning sensation burning up inside him. He wrapped himself with his own arms from the pain as he grunts. What kind of feeling is this? It’s like something’s swelling inside of him at a fast pace.
Warp slowly opened his eyes again and saw the entity still showing him an image of Buzz Lightyear. Soon he spotted something in the image, as if the hero’s mask has been pulled from right off its face revealing his secret identity. “Stellar…?”
The face and hair of Buzz Lightyear was unmistakable. Buzz Lightyear IS Buzz Stellar. This entity had just negated the Lightyear energy effect in the form and its effect on people, allowing him to really see beyond the influence and see who this fighter really is. Warp couldn’t believe it…
“I can sense your anger to this human…” The entity kept talking. “You would love to make him pay for what he did to you and more…And I just know how to help you with that…”
Warp couldn’t help but smirk, this guy sure knows how to get his attention. “And all it takes is for me to help you with whatever you need and you’ll give me what I need to make Stellar’s life a living hell?” He saw the entity nod and then he gave a laugh. “Hahah, sounds good to me! Anything to get me out of my boring life!”
And that is how Agent Z came to be…
----------------------------------------------------------------
Stellar slowly opens his eyes as the morning sun hits his face from the window close to his bed. He groans and pulls the covers up to his face to shield him from the morning light, after a night like the one he just went through, he really wants to sleep the morning away and forget about school or anything.
“Rise and shine, Stellar.”
Oh great, Nebula-C. Can’t he let him sleep for a while longer? He’s still tired from that battle last night. Stellar groans and turns over, not wanting to hear the space being.
“Hey, Stellar! C’mon, rise and shine!”
Suddenly Stellar felt his right arm move by itself and pulling the covers completely off from his body, exposing his warm body to the cold atmosphere of his room, making him open his eyes wide and curl up in a cold shiver. Darn that air conditioner and being so cold in the early morning!
“Up on your feet, Stellar!” Nebula-C scolds as it resides in the StarCom. “We need to prepare for our leave today! No slacking off now. From now on I’m in charge and you have to follow my leads!”
“Since when are you not in charge…” Buzz remarks, commenting about Nebula-C’s control over his right arm and on him being so bossy. He looks at his clock; it’s just 6:10 AM.
“C’mon, Stellar! Up on your feet and gather what you need! We can’t waste any more time than we need to!”
6:30 AM
“Move it, Stellar! Pack faster! No slacking!”
6:50 AM
“Move it, move it, move it! Faster, Stellar! You’ll need speed faster than this to take on the Emperor!”
7:10 AM
“Are you even trying to pack?! Pathetic, Stellar! Even a young earthling can pack faster and better than you!...Huh? Hey, what are you doing?! Agh! Stop that! What are you-” The rest of Nebula-C’s complaining have been muffled out as Stellar just snapped and wrapped a thick blanket around his StarCom to shut Nebula-C up.
Stellar just glared at his wrapped up StarCom as Nebula-C kept on shouting in a muffled voice, the blanket drowning down his voice to soothe Stellar’s ears. He just couldn’t take it any longer! “Will you please let me do this my own way?!” Stellar scolds back at him. “I don’t care if you’re even the president of Capital City; I’m packing my own way and doing things my own way! When we get off this planet and into unknown territory then you can lead but this is my house and my planet and I go my own way as long as we’re here!!”
Just then there’s a knock at his door, followed by his own mother’s voice. “Stellar? Honey, are you awake?”
Stellar stands up straight and looks at his closed door to answer his mother’s call. “Yes, mom! I’m up!” His mother, he forgot about her! How can he tell her he’s going to space to fight some kind of evil entity?
Stellar’s train of thought breaks as Nebula-C’s constant muffled complaints keep on going. He slowly removes the blanket from around his StarCom to fully allow Nebula-C’s constant nagging. “Nebula?”
“What? What is it?!” And he doesn’t sound too happy about being wrapped up like that.
“It’s my mom…” He continues as he opens the StarCom’s lide to look at Nebula-C. “How can I tell her I’m going to space?”
Nebula-C blinks, he probably never thought of Buzz’s mom. “Easy. Like this: ‘Mom, I’m going to space and probably get myself killed fighting against an evil entity in the vastness of space to save the whole universe. Don’t wait up.’.”
Buzz fumed and gave a glare at his Lightyear partner. “Hey! This is serious, Nebula!”
Nebula-C waves his hand to the angry boy. “I know, I know. Just tell her straight out and hope for the best. It’s better than just stammering and thinking about it constantly.”
It might sound easy for Nebula-C, but for Buzz it was a heart-wrenching thing to do. To say goodbye to his mother and likely not see her again for a very long time. That is if he survives this journey…Wait, what is he thinking? Of course he’s going to come back!
Buzz continued his packing and then holstered the backpack up on his back. He then takes a deep breath before deciding to head out there and tell his mom about him leaving the planet. Nebula-C was right, he has to tell her straight out and that’s it.
“Go on, Stellar.” Nebula-C encourages as Stellar is standing there frozen in front of his room door.
“I will, I will…” Buzz gulps and heads out the door and into the hallway. He adjusts the backpack on his back and takes another deep breath before walking down the stairs and into the kitchen, where his mother is busy making a little breakfast for Stellar before heading out to school. But if only she knew…
“Mom…” Buzz began. “I…Got to tell you something…”
His mother turned around and was a bit surprised to see her son using the bigger backpack and not the small one he always takes to school. “Stellar? What are you…?”
Buzz looked down at his StarCom as he heard Nebula-C clearing his throat, obviously a sign to hurry it up or else. Buzz narrowed his eyes, bringing up his courage to tell his mom. He turns to his mother and spoke right out. “I’m leaving.”
The sudden declare of him leaving shocked her, she almost dropped the dish she was cleaning. She put the dish back where it was and walked closer to her son. “Le-Leaving? Stellar, what are you talking about? To where?”
“I-I can’t say…But I’m leaving home for a while.” Stellar wanted to stop but he kept on going, he can’t hold this out any longer. “It’s something I really have to do, mom. Something important.”
His mom stood there with her eyes on her son. She couldn’t know what to think. Her son just suddenly told her he was leaving for something important and with a backpack that probably held enough clothes and food for a very long time, where is he going to go?
“I’m sorry, mom…” Buzz is clearly not enjoying this and is in fact hurting on doing this. “I’m going to be gone for a good while, but I’ll be back. Honest.”
His mother lowered her hands, acknowledging the look on Stellar’s face. She doesn’t understand what her son is trying to tell her and to where he’s going, but that look on his face…She knows it must be something of outmost importance for him to be this determined and courageous. In the end she can’t hold him back. “All right…” She finally gives in and nods. “I understand…”
Buzz frowns and lowers his eyes, the sadness being overwhelming. “Mom…”
His mother smiled warmly. “I…May not know what you’re up to or what this important thing is…But I trust you. You’ve been a very good son to me, and you’ve been very responsible and determined…”
Buzz sighed in relief, finally happy to let that out. “Thanks for understanding, mom…”
His mother smiled and gave her son a loving hug, gently stroking his hair. “I love you, Buzz Stellar…”
Buzz returned the hug, his eyes slowly starting to tear up at the thought of him leaving her behind, heck, leaving behind everything he knows and love. “I love you too…”
They hugged for a few seconds and then they parted. Buzz’s mom looked at her son before adding. “Always be careful out there, OK Stellar?”
Buzz nodded. “I will.” And with that he turned to the door and charged for it, he was never one to have long goodbyes. “See ya later, mom!”
His mother watched as her only son ran out the front door. It’s never easy to see your only son walk out the door and into the outer world, but it’s something all mothers have to see eventually. To proudly let their off springs go and make a life for themselves out in the world. Even though this is just a temporary separation, it’s still sad to see him go.
Just as Buzz ran out the front door his mother heard something, a soothing gentle voice whispering in her ear. “I’m sorry…I’ll protect him with my life…”
Buzz mother looked around, only to see no one…
----------------------------------------------------------------
“That went smoothly.” Nebula-C comments about what just happened. Stellar however was silent as he kept on running down the street, trying his best to keep the tears back as his heart ached. “Hey hey, what are you crying for? C’mon! We’re going on an exciting journey into the stars! You’ll visit different planets and bust out different Z-Waves!”
“Will you knock it off?!” Stellar suddenly scolded out. “It’s not easy just leaving behind everything all of a sudden! It takes time for me to get used to it! You know how painful this is for me?!”
“Pfeh, sorry.” Nebula-C scoffs.
Buzz kept on running for as long as he felt the sadness in his heart. He just can’t believe he has to leave all of this behind just like that and possibly never return until this Emperor is destroyed. Nebula-C took notice of Stellar’s anguish and couldn’t help but feel sorry for him, all the sadness, the tears…Oh this has got to stop.
“Stellar, stop.”
Buzz shot a glance at his StarCom and stopped his running. “What?” He wipes his eyes and then brings up his right arm to look in the StarCom. “Something wrong?”
“You could say that.” Nebula-C comments as he crosses his arms. “Look, Stellar. I know you’re sad about leaving your planet and all, but it’s not like you can’t come back once you set foot in space.”
Stellar arched an eyebrow. “Now that you mention it, how are we going up there into space?”
“An excellent question.” Nebula-C looked to his right and saw something that caught his interest. “Perfect. Look to your left, Stellar.”
Stellar looked to his left. To his surprise he sees something in the sky, like some kind of thin transparent green light heading upward into the sky. “What is that thing?” Stellar inquires. “I’ve never seen such a thing!”
“That is what I call a Lightyear Road.”
“Lightyear Road?”
Nebula-C nods as he starts explaining. “Remember when I told you that Lightyears are created by a huge concentration of electromagnetic brain waves of a civilization? Well, those brain waves find their way into space in large masses. These masses gather up in certain points and fly into space, and that’s how a Lightyear Road comes into existence.”
Stellar blinks and looks back at the thin pillar. It’s kind of hard to believe that source of EM waves stretches up into space like that. “Wow, that’s pretty neat.”
“As long as you go Lightyear and become one with that road, you can travel along the path at a very high speed. You can go from planet to planet in minutes depending on their distance.”
“Wow!” Buzz is amazed, there are so many things he can do as a Lightyear now that it’s overwhelming! To go in and out of space and planets at will just like that without the use of a spaceship, it’s amazing! He still can’t believe such phenomena’s exists just by something as simple as electromagnetic brain waves creating powerful entities like Nebula-C.
Buzz is so excited he takes off in a run to wherever that Lightyear Road touches down. “This is…It’s just…Aw man, I gotta check this out by myself!”
“There is a problem, though.” Nebula-C continues as Stellar keeps on running. “Lightyear Roads tend to branch from planet to planet and usually end on dead-ends. We might require getting our hands on a spaceship later on if our search on the Lightyear Roads for the Emperor end up futile.”
“Spaceship or not, this is just too awesome!”
“Don’t get too excited, Stellar. This isn’t some kind of field trip or pleasure cruise. Remember, we have a job to do!”
Buzz suddenly narrowed his eyes and nods bravely. “Right, I know.” Stellar stops in front of a cluster of buildings and looks up, the Lightyear Road must be touching down on one of the buildings’ roof. Looking around to check if nobody is watching him Stellar runs behind a building to seclude him from public view.
“Let’s go, Buzz Lightyear!” Nebula-C cries.
Buzz nods in respond. “Right!”
Stellar throws his arm with the StarCom forward before bending it upward with his other hand closed into a fist over the StarCom. “Electromagnetic Lightyear Change!” He then lowers his arm with the StarCom a bit before throwing it up, holding up high into the air, his focus on the Lightyear energy in him. “To infinity and beyond!”
Green Lightyear energy flows out from his StarCom and engulfs the boy, overflowing his body with Lightyear energy. Like always he dons white armor with green lines on the chestplate, gloves, wrists and boots. He then opens his eyes and jumps with a spin, breaking out of the green flare and lands firmly on his feet on the ground.
With his enhanced capabilities and skills Buzz looks up and jumps into the air and kicks off of a wall, back flipping and kicking off the other wall close by. He kept on kicking from wall to wall until he made it to the roof and looked up at the Lightyear Road. The pillar looks like a wavy yellow-ish glow, extending up as high as the eye can see. Nebula-C is right; this thing goes as high as space!
“All right, Stellar. Listen up.” Nebula-C starts. “Manipulating the Lightyear Road for travel can be pretty tricky. You have to be precise in your own electromagnetic brain wave input and your desire in the speed and direction. One miscalculation can catapult you out of the Lightyear Road and into the vastness of space.”
Buzz gulped in fear before giving his say in the matter. “But Nebula, even if I am shot out into space can’t I just fly back to the Lightyear Road?”
“Normally, yes. But I strongly suggest against it. In your current state you take too much Lightyear energy flying around and if you run out of Lightyear energy in space consider yourself dead.”
Buzz gulps again, not liking the sound of him stranded in space without the Lightyear form to protect him.
“Now, Stellar.” Nebula-C continues. “Getting into the road is the simple part, the rest you have to figure it out by yourself. Walk into it and you can figure out the rest.”
Buzz looks at the pillar of waves with hesitation. Just go in? The rest he can figure it out? That’s easier said than done. One wrong move and he’s out of there and if he runs out of energy in space he’s a goner! There’s no room for numerous errors here. Buzz slowly steps to the road but hesitates to touch it, what if he can’t do this and ends up messing up? What if the moment he gets in he gets ejected out like garbage?
“Oh for the love of Nebula!” Nebula-C was getting impatient. Using his influence on the Lightyear form he pushes Buzz into the pillar to get this show on the road. Buzz yelps in surprise as he gets pushed and falls forward and into the pillar, and just by the touch he’s suddenly pulled up and into the road, he didn’t even hit the ground.
Buzz screams in surprise and fear as he felt himself going up the Lightyear Road at an incredible breakneck speed, it was all like the world and colors surrounded him and melted together, like a pastel picture. Before he knew it everything around him started going black, like entering a dark void. At that point Buzz started panicking and just like that he got spit out of from the Lightyear Road, it only took a millisecond the moment he started panicking.
Stellar screamed in a panic as he felt his body without the work of gravity and spinning in mid-air. He felt the cold embrace him and his composure being disoriented. What was happening to him?
“Darn it, Stellar. That was pathetic!” He heard Nebula-C speak, obviously commenting about how that test with the Lightyear Road just went. “Open your eyes, you big baby.”
Buzz slowly opened his eyes and couldn’t tell what was up and what was down, all he could see was total darkness and a starry distance and a moon not too far from him. It couldn’t be, could it? He couldn’t have…Gotten to space this fast.
“Whoa…” Stellar was in awe. “Am I really in…”
“Yes, Stellar. You are. This is outer space.”
Buzz managed to stop his body from spinning around and looked at his surroundings. Stars, moons, and a whole mess of yellow roads webbing toward every direction there could be. “See all those Lightyear Roads? I refer to them as the Lightyear Highway. They web toward every planet there is, just like I told you.”
“Wow…” Buzz was amazed, extremely impressed by everything he is seeing. He always wanted to see how outer space was like, and now he’s going to have his chance!
“One of these should take us to where the Emperor is. The question is which one to take.” Nebula-C ponders which road to take. It would’ve been much easier if the Emperor was easier to sense out. Knowing that crazy Lightyear it’s probably keeping its energy signature at its most lowest to prevent Nebula-C from sensing it. “Bah. Anyway, you should head back to the Lightyear Road and make sure you nail the controls this time! You drain Lightyear energy much faster while in space!”
Buzz nods and moves closer to the Lightyear Road. He takes a deep breath and touches the yellow road. Just like that he’s sucked into it and he’s sent zooming down the road at breakneck speed again. This time however Buzz tries to calm down and relax while focusing on the Lightyear energy in him, a bit hard to do with so much EM waves surging through his body and threatening to disorient him. He grits his teeth as he tries but then he’s ejected from the road yet again, this time thrown much farther away than the first time, ultimately slamming him against the surface of a close by meteorite. “Gah!”
Nebula-C groans as it rolls its eyes. “As least you did better this time…”
Buzz sits up as he rubs the back of his head before realizing where he landed. He slowly stands up and looks around to see the surface of the meteorite he just landed on. Amazing, he thought, he’s actually standing on top of a meteorite! This is way too cool!
“Hahah!” Buzz beamed and smiled. “Wow, I can’t believe it! I’m actually standing on a meteorite!”
“Hey, what are you admiring about!” Nebula-C scolds the boy again. “You’re wasting precious Lightyear energy! Get back on the Lightyear Road and get it right before you really endanger yourself!!”
Buzz flinched from the scolding. Why can’t Nebula-C just give him a break? He’s only human; these things are bound to get him excited. Buzz nods in response and leaps for the Lightyear Road, beaming himself again in it with a simple touch and tries again to focus on the energy to get this traveling thing right. He manages to slow down his speed, but he got ejected out of it again and humorously slamming against a space rock head-first. He rubs his head with a hint of tear in his eye from the pain and tries again with the Lightyear Road.
Slowly but surely he gets the hang of it while crossing through the galaxy. Little does he realize that someone is watching him as he tries to get the hang of the Lightyear Road traveling method…
“What a whimp…I managed to get the hang of using those things way faster than he could.” The stalker removed his helmet and smirked as he kept seeing Buzz going in and out of the Lightyear Road, kind of enjoying in seeing the boy trying. “While he’s making himself at home with the Lightyear Road, I better run some errands.”
He was then surrounded by a faint black aura; once again an evil disembodied voice speaking to him. “Spread fear and terror thorough the galaxy…Give them all a taste from their future ruler…”
The stalker smirked with pleasure; he liked the sound of that. “You better prepare yourself Stellar, because this time your ol’ friend Warp Darkmatter here is going to rock your world…”
----------------------------------------------------------------
Buzz: Lightyear Force
“I heard a lot of this planet. This is where the Jo-Adians come from, a race of powerful dinosaurs that are extremely talented in vegetation and growth. They say all of the galaxy’s crops come from this very rural planet.”
“Your Lightyear energy is almost depleted, Stellar. Better hang low around here until you recharge yourself.”
“That’s cool. While I’m here I can take on the sights and learn more about this planet and the people that live here.”
“Geh, Stellar! This place is infested with Z Waves! The Emperor’s already attacking innocent planets!”
“Agh! They’re coming from underground! Of all the places…!”
“Look out, next chapter we’re meeting some interesting characters on Buzz: Lightyear Force!”
“Lightyear Change and go, to infinity and beyond!”
(Very short chapter, I know. Not much in this chapter. Also that last part is like a sneak peak of the next chapter.
Just wait for the next chapter, a very familiar character is coming!)
