I think this is the pairing that makes most sense out of the other team couples, it's not the one I like best though. The writers do seem to insinuate it, clone rangers is an example buzz's "weak spot", she talks about it in such a way.
For it to happen I would say she has to make the first move, and be the one to insist. He doesn't seem to be that interested, but can be persuaded, if he was persuaded with bonnie von whatever (I ZO MEEN MWAHAHAHA) who was probably 18 or something then it should be easier with mira, their age difference isn't as big and unlike with bonnie they do have a lot in common.
She's... half his age, "oh, but it's no big deal!, duh!, welcome to da nu milenioom".
Still... <.<, I prefer mira with one of the other two.
I've always thought that she would all "hey, why not" about Booster. And really why not?, she is not a shallow person, she isn't all about appearances.

The age thing never even made me blink, but my hubby and I are about the same difference. Once you get past a certain age (usually around twenty-five, but it varies) age matters a whole lot less than experience and attraction.

Yeah, the age thing never mattered to me either. He doesn't really act older than her, besides being more experienced.

Yeah, exactly. I think once the whole initial rocky-period was over (and there'd likely be one), they would become the kind of couple that spends decades together and doesn't stop being in love. Mind you, with them, I think it would be decades, not of high-blown romance, but just as married people who share the morning coffee, read the newspaper together, trip over each other in the bathroom, come home and eat pizza on the couch. The real kind, the kind that doesn't rely on a lot of glitz or glamour because it already has the substance.
Which, I think is more romantic than anything, but I'm biased like that. ;-)

Yeah... yeah, they wouldn't be the type to make a big fuss.

Likely not. And this Christmas theme is so adorable.

I have actually grown to like this couple. I wasn't really all for it at the beginning, but I was won over after watching the series a bit more. I don't know, it just seems to make sense. At first the age thing kinda mattered to me, but after I saw Drakken and Shego being paired up in the finale of Kim Possible, I realized that cartoons really don't go into age as being a problem.
Buzz and Mira do seem like a "real couple", as was stated before. She wouldn't slow him down, because she's a ranger herself. Think about it: if Buzz married someone who was not a ranger, think of what a strain that would be on their marriage. And by being on the same team, they get to spend a lot of time with each other.

Yeah, really. For all intents and purposes, they're cops. I'm married to a cop myself, and you really need to be a certain breed to not have a freakout whenever your spouse comes home and excitedly tells you about how they had to chase some nutjob with a gun down through the woods. So, two rangers in one household would have a lot less trouble living with the profession being dangerous, I think; they would at least both know that the other is trained and capable.

Oh wow, you're married to a cop? o-o
This is really off-topic, but I'm the King of Town, so. X3; How accurate do you think BLoSC is as to the way the job is in real life? I mean, I know they take a few liberties, such as XR taking off in the middle of a mission due to INNERPAINONOEZ and not getting fired, but I don't know how far the writers go from reality, and I wish I knew because it would be helpful with fanfiction and such.
...Back on-topic... yeah, I can't see Buzz ever being with not-a-space-ranger. His work is too important to him. Someone who wouldn't understand that would probably wind up leaving him because he spent too much time at work.

I like the Mira and Buzz connection, it's cute XD

He's so involved with his work that he never really thought about romance. At least, that's my take on it. Mira is a romantic, but she takes her job seriously too. They fit pretty well together, don't they?

I'm sorry I missed this one! Actually, I think they do a really good job, considering that it's a cartoon. The little details are really well done. For instance, in police rank structure, Commander is higher than Captain, wherein the military, Commander is lower. I disregarded the once or twice that they called Star Command the military, and chalked it up to inconsistent writing. Buzz calling them the 'thin green line' was another reference to police, as well as Mira calling dispatch in Starthought. Likewise, her manning the dispatch in Good Ol' Buzz. They really do nail a lot of the details -- running radar (or the equivalent), sitting on a stakeout with black coffee, answering radio traffic. I would say, in a more realistic scenario (if anyone were inclined to write it), XR has tenure; he's a commissioned law enforcement officer, so unless he did something beyond bad, he would probably end up getting suspended for a week, sans pay, then reinstated. Usually speaking, police departments of any real size have unions, but Star Command seems sensible enough that they wouldn't need one. Usually, when it comes to discipline in the ranks, there's a tier system. Say, starting with a verbal warning, then a written warning, then a written reprimand, then a three-day or more suspension without pay, then to having your gun taken and being put on desk duty, then finally firing. It really does depend on the offense of the officer. Here's another thing: All police are held to a certain level of conduct, because they're considered as holding the public trust. So, doing something improper off-duty or on that isn't illegal to the private citizen would still be risking their job under 'conduct unbecoming an officer'. There are a ton of details like that anyone could use to really give a feel for it. When I write it, I write it like it's a police job. In 100D, Mira's been promoted to Detective. They have back and forth radio traffic; codes and signals. They have a radio call number, too; Buzz is 142, Mira's 242, XR is 342, Booster is 442. So, when they get a call, it'd go, "142." "142, radio." "Signal 7 at (insert place, area, coordinates); caller advises that there's a spousal dispute over who forgot to bring the maps." "Copy, radio. Show us en route." "En route at 0959." Which looks like gibbrish, but it's not. 142 would be calling Buzz, his reply, acknowledging the radio, dispatch calling a signal 7 (in my stories, a fight) and giving a quick description. His reply that he acknowledges it, and then dispatch tells him the time that he's been put 'en route' because police log everything that involves taking an official action so they can present it in court. Stuff like that trips me out. ::laughs:: I mean, considering how many years I've listened to my hubby's radio traffic, you really get a clear picture of the world they live in.
