LOL! You're welcome. I tend to get hopped up talking about it; I tested for YPD (Youngstown police) when they gave their civil service. They decided not to hire anyone, but I ranked #61, with over a thousand applicants. If they hadn't given ten to fifteen extra points to those with prior training (which I didn't have), I would have been in the top ten. So, I love cop-work, and tend to ramble on about it.

hey cool info.
In another forum there was once a topic, "are they cops or military?". I guess you cleared it out.

I'd have to agree they're cops too, I mean... speed trap duty.

That is really cool stuff. My dad's a cop, so I know some of it.

It's great. And there was; I used to argue with one of the "old crowd" about it, too.

Wow, slwatson, that's really useful information for fanfiction dealing with cops in general! I'm saving that in a text document if you don't mind! Now you've just given me inspiration! Oh, and on-topic: Buzz/Mira doesn't strike me as very plausible, even though the scenario of falling for your partner has been done a bajillion times already. It's just that, sure, Mira had a tiny crush on him when he saved her planet, but hey, she's too rebellious than Buzz can handle. Seriously. ...Sorry! *sheepish grin* That's just the way I feel about it. But I'm not against reading a really good fanfic on them. XDD

At first, I thought that Mira+Buzz could be a couple but now...
I don't really like them. OK, they are alike but I don't think there plausible.

Eh, I flipflop with how I feel about them... sometimes (usually after reading a story by SLWatson who does a great job with them) I'm like 'hey, this could work, THIS IS GREAT THIS IS GREAT ' and other times I'm like 'meh.' I usually write couples with more of an eye towards how interesting and unusual their interactions are than towards how compatible they'd actually be in real life. Buzz/Mira seem to be the type to be a very normal, stable, happy couple if they were a couple, which is terriffic for them, but not the kind of thing I personally feel compelled to write about. (Then again, you can be TOO out there. NOS/Mira, no no no no no)

Eh...eh...I dunno. She's a royal Tangean princess, and he's a...well...monkey in a jumpsuit, is what her father would say.
I personally don't see the equation of romance in this, but what do I know? I FEAR romance in my writing, so any writer with a plethora of logical reasons could pull this off, it's just not for...me.

Hey, each to their own. I adore 'em. And there was certainly enough in canon that I can work with it. :-D!

I adore 'em, toooo~! I'm a longterm shipper, and this coming from the girl who, for over 7 years before finding this fandom and subsequently the rest of the series, knew only TAB and 5.1 taped episodes (and half-remembered about 6 more). That's about 20% of the series, but 20% of the series was enough to make me a life-long shipper without "Conspiracy," "Supernova," "Shiv Katall," "Starthought," or even "Torque Armada."
