Points for discussion (Feel free to add your own as well ^.^)
XR was a little meaner than I thought he would be in this Ep.
Booster: "We can't shoot him! He's an innocent victim!" XR: "He lives on Tradeworld, how innocent can he be?" -Fires-
I don't know, I just don't see XR as the kind of robot to blast at pedestrians, even if they are possessed.
Also, I wanted to point out when the SS took over a LGM. All of those little guys are supposed to have a mind-link. You'd think taking over the mind of one would mess up all of them. o.o

Aaah, but the Shape-Stealer doesn't do mind control. It wraps itself over your body and forces you to move how it wants. Pretty creepy, huh?
Also, I think XR just has days where he's really crabby or something (not everyone is nice all the time); it's not the only episode he's mean in. Speed Trap has him acting pretty tetchy the whole time (seemed that way to me, at least).
(I'm pretending the writers aren't just inconsistent.)

(Of course. The writers in like ten different studios who don't seem to talk to one another. -cough- )
Ah, that would make sense. I was thinking it was a mind-control thing but body does make more sense to me now that I think about it that way.
And yeah, I guess everyone has their moments. I thought this was a pretty good episode overall.

Meh, he might not be good at XR, but he's the Janitor on Scrubs. I think he's a pretty good actor, he just isn't right for voice work.

True. We all like and dislike different things. Getting back on topic, I just noticed something while I was capping. XR has a chest cavity to hold things. So where in the heck did Mira pull that out of?! O.o

I think that gun compacts it self, making it self shorter. Still... doesn't seem that even compacted it would fit in her chest (like it would in, say, warp's in the movie)

That could work, too. Weird space-technology, maybe it's one of those tiny cubes that automagically transforms into a gun.

ROFL I personally have always kind of enjoyed the animations that pull random objects out of nowhere. *shrug* I don't know. I have a strange sense of humor that way. "Okay, now they're just messing with us." XD I thought XR was hilarious in this episode - aside from the quote you already mentioned, Eclipse'd. "Congratulations, XR, you just vaporized a pair of underwear." "Yeah well, it's not the first time." I'd love to know what kind of history any of the writers may have come up with for him...

I can't imagine that he'd have that much of a history, since he came to life in the pilot episode.
Then again it's doubtful whether or not all the writers have WATCHED the pilot episode.

I can't imagine that he'd have that much of a history, since he came to life in the pilot episode. ...True. ^^; I guess I was thinking more along the lines of... something like a bio. I'm sure someone had to have written one for him at some point. What he does in his off hours, that kind of thing.
