Greetings XR board members, tis I, Loony. It's been quite a while since last I was on, but I figure why not.
Getting on to the actual topic, I thought it'd be fun to have a topic devoted to the guest stars of BLoSC, because if you look at the credits, it's actually kind of amusing to see a name you know.
(this isn't counting people like Tara Strong or Frank Welker, this is the celebrity stars)
Craig Ferguson (NOS-4-A2) Has his own show, did "Series of Unfortunate Events" blah blah blah...
Wayne Knight (Zurg) was on Seinfeld as Newman, Toy Story 2 as Al.
Ryan Styles (Doctor Von Madman, the crystal guy) Was on "The Drew Carey Show", "Whose Line is it Anyway", and I've seen him in various commercials since.
Robert Picardo (Professor Reddschift) Was on Star Trek: Voyager as The Doctor, was in Legend (dunno as who) and is currently in many productions on Broadway
Mark Hamill (Flint) Was Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars trilogy, was on Batman: the Animated Series, guest starred on 3rd Rock from the Sun, I could go on and on...
Haley Joel Osment (Micah) Was in "The Sixth Sense" as the "I see dead people" dude, is the older brother of Emily Osment of Hannah Montana fame.
Ricardo Motzelbahn (Vartkes) Was in Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan as Khan, the Spy Kids movies as the grandfather.
Bobcat Goldthwait (XL) Was in Hercules as Pain, "Hansel and Gretel" as a troll, he was also in "Scrooged", but I forget his character's name...
Tony Jay (Dr. Animus) Was in many Disney Movies such as "Jungle Book", "Beauty and the Beast" and "Hunchback of Notre Dame". I also noticed him in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Eric Idle (Guzalien) Was on "Monty Python's Flying Circus" and it's movies, "Dudley Do-Right" as a homeless guy, "Shrek the Third" as Merlin, the list goes on and on...
Stephen Tobolowski (Gil, Buzz's co-worker in Mindwarp) Ned Ryerson in "Groundhog Day", the evil TV Host in "Garfield", this lab tech guy in "Sneakers" who got seduced by a main character...the list goes on...
French Stewart (Rent Whistleswack) Played Harry Soloman on "3rd Rock from the Sun", Inspector Gadget in "Inspector Gadget 2", this one dude in "Clockstoppers".
That's all for now, do as you please, add people, correct information. Have at it.

Well, he is. If you really listen, sometimes you can tell.
I did once see him on this Nostalgia show called "I love the 90s" and he was talking about the Beanie Babies, and how he would reinact bible stories with them. At one point he used the NOS voice and went "Hello...we've brought you some lovely frankinscense and myrth..."
I lol'd.

I thought it would be heavily unfitting to forget XR here, aren't Larry Miller and Neil Flynn BOTH actors and celebs? ;D

Yes, but he's not a guest star, he's a regular on the show. I didn't think to include him, but hey, go ahead and include him now.
The only thing I ever saw Larry Miller in besides BLoSC was "Max Keeble's Big Move", and I saw one of his standup routines (he's an awesome comedian). I don't think I've ever seen Neil Flynn in anything else, although I'm sure he's been in more stuff.

Thank you, Skyfire. Good to be back.
I believe that Madame President was in Hercules, I dunno if she counts as a celebrity guest star though.

You're welcome. Good to have you back! Mark Hamill, I knew about. Dog gone, it was difficult for me to really tell it was him, though. xD Ricardo Motzelbahn was the Spy Kids grandfather?? I KNEW I'd heard his voice before! Doggone, that is FUNNY! Bobcat Goldthwait also voiced the experiment Nosy (which cracks me up cuz XL is in the one episode in which Nos-4-A2 is called "Nosy," ROFL) in the Lilo & Stitch shows. (I've never seen the series myself, and I know that a lot of people dislike it, but I just thought it was worth mentioning.) AND I know Eric Idle by his voicing of Devon in Quest for Camelot. Actually, Devon and Cornwall (brothers/2-headed dragon) are probably like the best part of that cartoon, lol. (Oh yeah, and the voice of Cornwall is, umm, the voice of Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story - I forget his name. *blushes*) I did once see him on this Nostalgia show called "I love the 90s" and he was talking about the Beanie Babies, and how he would reinact bible stories with them. At one point he used the NOS voice and went "Hello...we've brought you some lovely frankinscense and myrth..." I lol'd. Awww, man! I WANNA SEE THAT!! Ohhh, too bad it's not on YouTube! ...Okay, here's another VA: Diedrich Bader (Waaaarp!). He's voiced a lot of cartoon characters, including (wikipedia article quote): ...Warp as Batman. Oh, that cracks me up, lol! ;D Oh, and Cree Summers - voice of Savy SL-2 (yes, I know the "Slayer" animation is crappy, plz don't anybody bring it up AGAIN) - also voices Princess Kida in Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

David James Elliot (JAG) voiced Mira's grounder ex-boyfriend. In Starcrossed. It took me a while to catch his voice in the episode but it's defiantly him.

As Kila likes to say... cool tapes! ;D
Three voice actors from a radio drama called Adventures in Odyssey played roles in BLoSC – and for their full filmographies, I suggest you check them out on Wikipedia. Maybe you’ll recognize some of their other roles!
Earl Boen AIO: twins Dr. Regis and Edwin Blackgaard (Dr. Regis Blackgaard was the show’s recurring villain for several years, and had a very evil laugh), General Lucainus in “Back to Bethlehem,” King Xerxes in “Bernard and Esther,” various other extras. Earl Boen has been voice-acting for AIO since ’88. BLoSC: Santa Claus. …When I first heard his voice, I knew I recognized it, and when I figured it out, I couldn’t believe it. ;D
Jess Harnell AIO: Wooten Basset (kooky, happy-go-lucky mailman), Bennett Charles (businessman, major villain), various other extras. Jess Harnell has been voice-acting for AIO since ’99, and his character Wooton is one of the stars and has appeared in at least half of the episodes since his first appearance. BLoSC: Keno Kentrix, announcer for Rox Radon, triple-headed aliens (Mahambas VI casino AND Black Hole owner/bartender). …I figured out his voice almost right off, and went into giggle spasms. Other: He’s a pretty accomplished voice-actor, and is probably especially known for his video game roles, including voicing Darth Maul for Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. He also played a stormtrooper in the live-action fanfilm “Troops!”.
COREY BURTON AIO: Mr. Burton (one-time character: a school newspaper senior editor), former mayor Bill Jenkins, Walter Shakespeare (assistant of Edwin Blackgaard), Jesus, probably a HUNDRED different extras, no joke. Most importantly… Cryin’ Brian Dern, a sarcastic, obnoxious (amusingly so) radio personality/reporter. His show is once described by Walter Shakespeare as “shock radio.” Corey Burton has been voice-acting for AIO since ’89. BLoSC: Brent Starkisser. I think that somebody from BLoSC wanted Corey Burton for that role because they’d heard him as Brian Dern in AIO. At any rate, when picking up the role of Brent Starkisser, Burton definitely had a decade’s worth of experience in voicing a media-person to fall back on. …I first saw Starkisser in “Rookie of the Year” in ’01, and immediately recognized his voice. Other: HE’S EVERYWHERE. HE REALLY IS. Don’t believe me? Just check out his pages on wikipedia and TVtropes. Star Wars: Nowadays, though, he’s probably best-known for voicing Count Dooku in the Star Wars: Clone Wars series. He also voiced Ziro the Hutt (Jabba’s uncle) in the Clone Wars movie. …He can change his voice in dozens of ways: deep and refined for Dooku; whiny and Southern-accented for Ziro; loud and obnoxious for Brian Dern (and Brent Starkisser sounds just about the same, only not sarcastic, just… chipper?); quieter, solemn, and just a teeny bit gruff for Bill Jenkins; nasal and kind of serious for Mr. Burton; soft, refined, British-accented for Walter Shakespeare; earnest and solemn for Jesus… Corey Burton’s real voice, however, (and I’ve heard him on an AIO special, that’s how I know) is very normal. It’s pretty funny.
…………
JIM CUMMINGS Anybody know who he is? Oh, come on, children of all ages all over the English-speaking world know his voice. Any guesses? He’s Winnie the Pooh! …AND he voices the convict in “The Taking of PC-7” that turns into a carpet salesman. ROFL!
