Now, I know that this is a Disney cartoon... so they would never use foul language... but XR seems to be the type that would be bound to use them. I really don't know what it is, but it always seemed like that. Maybe it is his odd sense of human humor, or his out of place attraction for organics... but he seems like the normal, everyday everyday 'Big City' type...
So what does everyone else think?

XR just seems more knowledgeable of various delicate matters that wouldn't ever be directly addressed in a children's show. Like having a copy of Victoria's Circuits, "I didn't know she was under warranty!" and other such tidbits. I don't think he'd ever actually use fouler language than what is already used; I just think that he knows more things than a one-year-old robot does and ought to know. xD

(Oh my BOB...) <- that made my day for some reason.
Yeah he does seem more knowledgeable than a he should, and I just love how they add that in there in a very sneaky way!! lol. I still dont know what he was saying the "I didn't know she was under warranty!" to, or even what purpose it served.
But...if BLoSC was a more adult show, then I believe that XR would have a little less 'corny' language.

Oh, wow, never say that to his face because he'd have such a hissy fit that XR's loud mouth is all thanks to him. xDD
I think the under warranty bit has been explained before. It's a bit naughty though, so I won't explain it...

Lol... Zurg never seems to pay much attention to XR though.
And to the under warranty thing, I guess I will have to look around for the answer... thank you!!

The only villain who actually DOES pay TONS of attention to is XL. I mean NOS does.....but then after awhile he just drifts off and goes back to Buzz....
ANYWAY......I would have to go search for that warrenty too~ X3 Save that for a rainy day~

Zurg just calls XR "that tin can"... or has he called him a loud-mouth too? I don't recall...
And doesn't it just irk you that NOS ended up wanting revenge on Buzz? I mean sheesh, Buzz is great and all, but I thought you wanted XR? Anyway...
Under warranty... it's not that hard, you know. Just think of that in human terms. It literally means being bound by a contract... young people are usually still obliged to follow their parents' or guardians' wishes.... now put two and two together!
And I shall now go back to Thomas Wyatt and Edmund Spenser... sonnets. Bahhhh. Not at 3 am in the morning...

You all so silly!
Under warranty simply means, in robot terms, that the gal was under age.
Gotta love adult humour in a children cartoon!

That's what I was trying to help them understand, but not so blatantly. Now watch as the little kids who venture onto these forums ASPLOUD at your crudeness! xDD

Yeah I kinda got it once I thought about it.... My mind drifted to something else.... sorry
But NOS was supposed to be XR's villain... not Buzz's!! He is not a robot, therefore he does not get NOS as a villain... lol. But at least XR still has XL. -._-.
Hey don't you just love how they talk about human and robots as if they are a race of beings...? I always found that funny, Bots and Organics! Lovely.... ^.^

Mm, XR's speaking patterns and personality make him seem to me like he'd talk like that whether he was on TV or not. He sort of seems to have his own dialect at times. I think he'd have to be pretty ticked off to use a 'real' word and it probably wouldn't be a very strong one. In fact, most of the characters seem that way to me. They're written with a kind of innocence that makes swearing from them seem jarring.
'Cept maybe Warp and Rentwhistle Swack, I can see them cursing. XD
