Because they do sometimes have BLoSC episodes, and when they do and someone notices, you can post it here! (I don't know if this is in the right section or not) Right now they have Head Case.

...What are they playing at?
To me this makes it seem like they realize there's at least something left of a fandom for the show... ...is it just that it's not big enough to warrant putting DVDs on the market?

No, I think they're waiting... My personal thought is we'll end up with a boxset or at least a re-release of TAB, on DVD and/or Blu-ray come 2010, when awareness of Buzz is heightened due to Toy Story 3.

that sounds so positive, and hard to believe, maybe I've turned pesimistic thanks to the long time I've been a fan and the little love disney has given us.
but go on, keep hoping, you being hopeful makes me hopeful. As long as they don't decide reboot the whole thing, making a completly different series see. There is tail spin with baloo and company and jungle book with baloo and company ;_;. Hopefully we won't end with Toy Story: KIDS! (wait no, we're not 20 years ago, loloololol) or Toy Story: the series D :

If Disney is willing to re-release TS1 and TS2 in theaters leading up to TS3, I think it's not that far off for them to at least re-release TAB.

OMG LOLWUT, toy stories in theathers.... all of them? am I getting that right? XD, I would but I have seen them too many times and movie tickets are too expensive for the matter. I see BG doing that though 9.9.... >D hehe
I don't know what constitues a re-relase, but I bought my dvd very late, just last year, and in amazon I saw different dates in which they were made, I saw: 2000, 2003, 2005(or 2006 I don't remember well ). I bought the 2003 (because of the price) but got 2005(6).

If there's any chance of new merchandise at all, I'd kill dust bunnies for an XR plush. I would non-sexually molest the crap out of that thing.

Heehee, I would love to see some more merchandise ^^ I'd buy it, whatever they sell, as long as it says "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" on it.

Huh? Did Disney do something else with Toy Story?
Actually, TS1 and 2 ARE going to be rereleased in theaters; I may go see, but only because they're going to be shown in 3-D. 83
.... I honestly don't know whether that's creepy or cute...

Huh? Did Disney do something else with Toy Story? It was a joke, see in the '80s and early '90s whenever they wanted to do a spin off, they turned the characters into kids, to name a few: tom and jerry kids, jungle cubs (although this one is mid-'90s), flintstones kids. The comparison I was making was that disney stopped tale spin and years later made a different spin off this time, hey! they were kids!. If things were right now like they were then, with that trent, they'd do a toy story kids, get it? : P , instead of continuing with BLoSC. : D To top it all, there are a lot people out there who hated this idea.

Toy Story Kids. Now there's a mental image I didn't need. Especially since, due to the fact that the main characters were toys built as adults, they never WERE kids.
"Coming next spring, an exciting new Disney rip-off spin-off of Toy Story: Toy Story Kids!! Watch for 52 brain-breakingly dumb episodes as bricks of pre-processed plastic and bottles of paint sit around in the factory, waiting to be melted down, dumped in a mold, and turned into your favorite Pixar characters!"
It'll be a smash hit. ¬.¬
On the other hand, I'd like to see what Team Lightyear's childhoods were like. (Well, except poor XR, who didn't exist then...) Not something ridiculous like the stuff they did with Scooby Doo and Tom & Jerry, where basically the plot and stories were the same as the original series except everyone was younger and everything was stupider; like, honestly, childhood-backstory type stuff for the main characters. We've gotten one or two glimpses of their childhoods, like Buzz with his pet cat in Holiday Time, and Booster's flashback in Roots of Evil, but really nothing much more than that. I'd like to see how they ended up the people they are now.
On a more on-topic vein, is anyone aware of any methods by which one might download an episode off of the aforementioned Disney site? On a purely hypothetical basis, of course. Academic curiosity.
